PC LOW cost x OFFICE

Ciao,

vi scrivo per aiuto su un assemblato, che vorrebbe avere le seguenti caratteristiche:

- Budget 250-300E
- Uso navigazione, pacchetto office, scannerizzazione doc
- Dimensioni contenute
- No tastiera, mouse, DVD
- Con Wifi


Ho fatto un giro su di un sito che sicuramente conoscete, partendo da una config già presente ed adattandola.
Sono arrivato qui:

Vi chiedo:
- Un giudizio complessivo ed eventuali migliorie
- Se manca qualcosa come componentistica e compatibilità dei pezzi.
- Quanto un HD SSD sarebbe utile nel velocizzare l'avvio ed esecuzione ed quale modello potrei inserire
- Altri negozi online da sondare, con buona reputazione.

Devo dire io avrei puntato più su un athlon 5350 e una scheda madre asrock am1b-mdh o equivalente asus/msi sempre socket am1
Cosi da avere un piccolo quadcore anziche un dualcore come l'A6 o un pentium
Come ram si può anche cominciare con 4gb da 1600MHz CL9
X il case se vuoi qualcosa di compatto valuterei thermaltake v1, CM N200, antec isk 600 o isk 310
Si un ssd come il samsung evo 850 o Ocz arc100 darebbe un boost notevole rispetto all'hdd classico
X il wifi che router hai e quanto e distante dal pc?

Grazie per le indicazioni.
Sul processore ci avevo pensato ma poi guardando qualche benckmark in rete mi sono orientato sull'A6, mi è sembrato cmq più performante
Ora guardo meglio i case.
Il router è un Netgear N300, si trova a circa 10m con un paio di stanze nel mezzo..

For general use this is not even close, go with the A6-6400k.

The advantages of the 5350 is that it has a lower tdp, it is cheaper, it can be passively cooled for htpc use, more/cheaper itx boards.

The lower tdp is not a big deal for you are probably not going to run the cpu at full throttle 24/7. Your cpu average usage will probably be less than 10% (figuring that you may use your cpu more than 10% but the times you are not using the cpu and it is at idle your cpu usage should be less than 5% and probably less than 1%. In the end a difference of 10w is less than a new led light bulb uses for power.

Cheaper is self explanatory.

Passively cooled for htpc use is possible if you get a big enough heatsink, you will need to use a third party heatsink and it may be large but it is very easy to do

The advantages of the 6400k is that it is night and day faster for single threaded use and they are about par for multithreaded use. While it is a limited benchmark, these passmark scores give you a good idea what I am talking about.

AMD Athlon 5350
2641 CPU Mark (aka Multithread)

AMD A6-6400K
2395 CPU Mark (aka Multithread)
1444 Single Thread Rating

So if you are using 1 or 2 threads the A6 will destroy the 5350, even when you are using 3 threads it will be faster, the 5350 is only faster when you are using all 4 threads at near 100%.

1444/819=76% faster for single threaded. If you are use all 4 threads the 5350 is 10% faster (2641/2395).

So in sum for custom builds (non oems) the A6-6400k is better for most situations for general use. There are reasons to go with the 5350 and that is making a small computer, or making it small, or making it cheap (though the price difference is extremely minor and I do not think it is worth it.)

guarda senza girarci intorno e guardare decine di benchmarck, tutte le cpu di quella cifra hanno prestazioni simili, variano in base al software, nessuna di quelle e un fulmine, ma senza andare a spendere 100 euro x un I3/A10 vanno cmq benone x sovlgere i classici compiti da pc casalingo
io rpenferisco l'athlon appunto xke e quadcore e nn va in crisi se si aprono 8 pagine di browser mentre ci si ascolta della musica :)
la TP-LINK TL-WN881ND va bene, cosndiera che se i muri sono parecchio spessi adnrei addirittura su schede da 3 antenne

quei compiti li svolgi anche con un muletto usato da 50-60euro
li faccio io con un amd x2 3600+ vecchissimo!
ora ti scrivo da un p4 2,8Ghz 1GB ddr1 e ho firefox 8 schede + vlc che canta!

E' vero che potrei farlo con un pc simile.

Attualmente uso un Celeron 2.8GHz 1GB su XP, ma son diventato schiavo dei suoi tempi di attesa e vorrei passare ad un SO più aggiornato, visto che è cmq in rete.

esatto alla fine spendendo la metà fra cpu e shceda madre
