Spero che davvero qualcuno mi aiuti ad uscire da questo inferno perchè non è possibile!
Allora il monitor alla risoluzione nativa ossia 1920x1080 va a 144hz come impostato..
il mio problema è quando vado ad impostare una risoluzione diversa e più bassa, il monitor va a 144hz ma perchè semplicemente sta facendo girare la risoluzione dentro l'area da 1920x1080 strechata..
Mi spiego meglio, dal OSD del monitor c'è l'impostazione per visualizzare la risoluzione e hz correnti.
Se setto una risoluzione qualsiasi ma prendiamo ad esempio una 1154x864 e vado nelle info dell'OSD mi compare sempre 1920x1080 144hz!!! :muro: :muro: :muro: :muro: :muro:
La cosa strana è che se dal pannello nVidia delle risoluzioni

questo per intendersi..
se clicco restore defaults in alto a destra mi imposta poi correttamente le risoluzioni solo che gli hz a 60 e ad esempio sulla 1152x864 75hz! :mc:
Perchè??
Da dove li prende questi 60hz e 75hz per la 1152x864??
Come vado poi a settare i 144hz si presenta di nuovo il problema..
di nuovo quella sottospecie di layer a 1920 con la mia risoluzione impostata strechata dentro.
credo si chiami upscaling.. e ci sta anche ma perchè me lo fa solo se imposto i 144hz o 120hz o 100hz? Perchè non lo fa a 75hz?
ho provato vari tool online tipo "Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)" o "refreshlock 2"
apparte che cru non va oltre i 120hz in ogni caso fa la stessa cosa.
Vi prego aiutatemi a risolvere..

ho letto con un programma l'EDID del mio monitor e da qui spuntano fuori gli standard timings ecco perchè ad esempio la 1152x864 a 75hz che mi viene impostata quando resetto le risoluzioni e quindi va a leggere dall'EDID.
Non mi resta che modificare l'EDID e creare un file .inf modificato con le risoluzioni che mi interessano.
il punto è che mi sto scimunendo con Phoenix e non ne vengo a capo.. come lo genero questo EDID modificato?
