Recovery bios di un Toshiba

Ciao,

esiste qualcuno che è riuscito una volta nella vita a recuperare il bios corrotto da un portatile?

Io ho il mio Toshiba Satellite PRO U400 con bios corrotto, le ho provate tutte ma niente... :mc:

Ciao, riesci a farci sapere che BIOS è? Ho cercato un po' su internet ma non sono riuscito a capire bene, sembra Phoenix o Insyde...

Riguardo al comportamento del portatile... appare qualcosa a schermo? Sei sicuro si tratti di BIOS?

Stavo facendo l'aggiornamento del bios da windows 7 (purtroppo non c'è da dos) e si piantato l'OS a metà risultato bios andato.

Il bios è Phoenix, ho anche recuperato il backup del bios dal disco rigido (montato su altro pc).

Ho provato a recuperarlo con la procedura ufficiale wincrisis tramite chiavetta USB avviabile e tasti Fn+F fa qualche rumore ma niente, schermo nero ma ventola gira.

Dopo 6 gg e 30 tentativi niente, ho provato con wincrisis.1.0.0.4 che dicono sia quello giusto, ho anche provato a fare la USB avviabile da XP risultato si è messo a fare due suoni alternati ho aspettato 10 min poi ho spento ORA NON SI ACCENDE PIU' NEANCHE UNA LUCE... FULMINATO TOTALMENTE!

Eh, se manco s'accende la vedo dura... Guardando un po' in giro cmq qualcuno consiglia la combinazione Fn+B, qualcuno il solo F12.

Aggiungo... leggendo in un altro forum ho trovato questo:
Suddenly I hear a lot of beep noises and the light on the usb pen stops working. The beep noises continues for about 3-5 minutes and suddently the last long noise and my pc shuts down and restarts. Everything works fine - to be shure I flashed the original bios with iso cd and my laptop works like before.

Credo avresti dovuto aspettare l'ultimo suono lungo... così credo sia stata interrotta la procedura di flashing...

Comunque, la procedura usata dal tipo è (non so se tu l'abbia già usata):
I gav it a last try with the pen drive recovery..copied all files from the pen drive recovery to the usb pen plus my bios.wph. Changed the compability of wincris to win xp and unbelievebly wincris startet. Followed the instructions, unplugged the pen and replugged it. Continued and pressed start. It couldn't find the files, I pressed ok and the window closed.

The next step was to copy these files from my original bios to my usb pen:
- minidos.sys
- bios.wph
- plash16L'ho citata perché anche qui si parla di Fn+B.
