Your small city starts with only three unconnected stations. Your task is to draw routes between the stations to connect them with subway lines. Everything but the line layout is handled automatically; trains run along the lines as quickly as they can, and the commuters decide which trains to board and where to make transfers.

However the city is constantly growing, along with the transport needs of its population. How long can you keep the subway system running before it grinds to a halt?

Mini Metro is coming to PC, Mac, Ubuntu, iPad, and Android tablets in mid-2014."

Compelling, constructive, hectic, relaxed gameplay. If that makes sense. It doesn't though, aye? You just gotta play it.
Three game modes: Commuter for quick scored games, Scenic for stress-free sandbox play, and Rush Hour for the ultimate challenge. (only Commuter is in so far, Scenic will follow soon)
Three real-world cities to design subways for (London, New York City and Paris), with many more being added before release. Each has a unique colour theme, set of obstacles, and pace.
Random city growth, so each game plays out differently. A strategy that proved successful last game may not help you in the next.
Each game's map is a work of art, built by you in the classic abstract subway style of Harry Beck. If you think it's a keeper, save it, tweet it, show it off or make it your desktop background!
Soundtrack by Disasterpeace (well, not quite yet ... but he's working on it!)
Colorblind and night modes.
Trains! Did we mention them yet?

Difficoltà in ordine crescente: Londra -> New York -> Parigi.

Lo so. Il problema è che la massa vede solo un foglio bianco e 7 linee colorate e pensa sia poco profondo.

Ci gioco da febbraio e sono ancora nel tuo stesso dilemma. :asd:

Patch 19/08/2014

- Sbloccata San Pietroburgo
- vari minor fix

Axios2006

Rob’s been noodling away on the next map (São Paulo) and zen mode this past week. We hope to have them both, along with some other fixes and changes, up in beta4 later this week.

As we were discussing the design of zen mode, it became apparent that there are a number of directions we could take it. A lot of the ideas that he and I had, and ideas from the community, didn’t fit together as well as I’d expected. Eventually we decided to split the features into two distinct modes: zen and sandbox.

Zen mode will be much like the traditional scored game, but with the absence of a loss condition. Passengers will stop spawning as stations fill up and (very patiently) wait for your trains to ferry them around. The map will still zoom out, stations will open as normal, and you will earn upgrades each week. We’re still nailing down the scoring metric, which will likely be some sort of efficiency rating.

The vision we have for sandbox mode is more of a construction kit. You’ll have unlimited assets. You’ll control where the stations open, and what type they are. The size of the map will be up to you as well. I’m getting ahead of myself here, but if we do get the chance to create a theme and map editor, it would be part of sandbox mode as well.
The sandbox mode is on the to-do list for now however; we have a ton of content still to put in the normal game first!

Beta 4 is now live on Steam. The major addition is the first iteration of zen mode.

Changes:

Zen mode is now available.
Saint Petersburg starts with four tunnels available.
The asset panel will lift when the cursor hovers over the handle for half a second.
The asset panel can be locked up by clicking on the padlock icon.
Score widget has been moved to the top-left.

Fixes:

A fallback effect is now used instead of the blur if the original effect is unsupported. If you still have issues during the blur (the blur is used at the changelog, in-game pause menu, and the game-over screen) please let us know.

Domandina idiota: ovunque lo prenda (dovessi decidere di prenderlo) è attivabile su Steam, giusto?
Così nel caso me lo porto dietro anche sul portatile (ho Mint su quello) :D

Beta 5 is now live on Steam.

Changes:

The way locomotives are placed has been reworked and allows more accuracy.
Carriages are now attached to the nearest train.
The city generation has been slightly modified for each city.
An option is now available to skip menu transitions.
New assets in Scenic mode are now unlocked when efficiency milestones are reached.
The score widget in Scenic mode has been changed, and now shows you how far you have to go until you reach the next efficiency milestone.

The next major feature we're working on is the long-overdue reallocation of locomotives and carriages.

Axios2006

Beta 7 is here, and with it comes flexible railcars. Locomotives and carriages can now be dragged onto new lines and trains, as appropriate, once they've been placed.

Changes:

Locomotives and carriages can be dragged from their current position and attached to other lines and trains.
Passenger and station icons have been cleaned up.
Passengers are packed more closely together at stations, and kerned.
São Paulo is playable.
Each link displays only one tunnel, even if multiple crossings are made.
Game interface is scaled correctly at very low resolutions.

beta9

Changes:

Lines scheduled for removal can now be rebuilt immediately.
Locomotives automatically removed from an old line are now moved onto empty lines instead, if any exist.
The asset panel can be raised and lowered with the up and down arrow keys. The up arrow will lock the asset panel if it is already raised.
Hong Kong is playable.
Montreal and Osaka thumbnails are visible.
If a station appears on top of a line, it will insert itself into that line if possible.

__________________________________________________________

beta10

Changes:

All cities are now playable.
Most cities have had balance and station generation changes.
Slight changes to the asset panel.
The city previews have been improved.
The resolution can be changed in the options menu.

Fixes:

Editing track that overlaps deleted track is now possible.
A game will no longer begin with stations outside of the viewable area. We still think there's a bug around stations spawning outside of the window *during* the game.

Beta13

We have a bunch of minor changes this update. Commuter games can now be continued as Scenic games. The game over animation has been prettied up.

Most importantly (for us!) is that we've fixed the game recording functionality. We used this during the alpha to replicate bugs locally. So if you encounter a bug while playing beta13, particularly during line placement, please email us the record along with a brief description of what happened, a screenshot if you think it's relevant, and the log. The records can be found within the game's data directory and are named 'record-YYYYMMDD-HHMM.txt'. This will help us immensely in fixing the few line editing and passenger AI bugs that are still floating around.

The list of the major changes and fixes are as follows:

Game records are now fully functional.
Added the option to continue a lost Commuter game as a Scenic game.
Made the direction of a station's timer visible.
Tweaked the game over animation.
Simplified the geometry on the Osaka map.
Fixed minor issues in the resolution changing system.
