[GeeXboX 3 ] non funziona WiFi

ho da poco installato geexbox-3.1-i386.iso
funziona quasi tutto eccetto la cosa che mi interessa di più il WiFi

sto usando questa scheda usb Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0bda:8176 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8188CUS 802.11n WLAN Adapter

ho provato piu volte ha modificare il file /etc/network ma non è cambiato niente

non ho molta esperienza con il wifi, o usato

tramite il router verificando chi era connesso

e questo su geexbox (vedi img)


avrei provato anche tramite schell oppure script ma non conosco i comandi per fare la connessione manualmente

- provato a riavviare il servizio di rete e controllare i log ?

se ho capito usa systemd, per avviare il servizio

sudo systemctl restart connman



per vedere errori:

ho provato a modificare le impostazioni
con
Modalità di cifratura WEP 128 bit
e rete visibile si collega in wifi

invece non si collega quando uso
Modalità di cifratura WPA-PSK AES 256 bit
e modificando solo questo su geexbox in /etc/network

PASSPHRASE="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

visto il risultato credo sia il router a non concedere l autorizzazione anche se non ho capito perche :confused: :muro:

e da ciò che letto il wep non mi sembra molto sicuro per collegmenti prolungati

in /var/log c'e solo questo

(e non mi sembra avere informazioni utili per la rete)

da cio che ho letto usa file *.opk

opkg install wicd wicd-curses nano

forse visto che posso usarlo da shell è piu adatto wicd-curses ma non è presente nessuno dei due
e non trovo nemmeno i file *.opk

per farlo manualmente temo siano tante le dipendenze da risolvere

ho provato a copiare wicd-curses in modo "improprio"
ma quando lo avvio

per testare la rete hai provato a fare un ping al router?

con il ping non ottengo alcuna risposta

la lan non sarebbe un problema, momentaneamente posso spostare il computer

solo che non ho trovato i binari *.opk che mi servono
e mon ho molta esperienza con i sorgenti e risolvere le varie dipendenze

se hai la possibilita' di metterlo in rete con la ethernet

per gestire i pacchetti:

(aggiorna gli indici)
opkg update

(installa pacchetti, penso gestendo le dipendenze)
opkg install pkg_name


(rimuove pacchetti)
opkg remove pkg_name

c'e' una cosa che non mi torna, che il servizio:

connman.service

appare "disabled"

andrebbe abilitato (systemctl enable connman.service)
avviato (systemctl start connman.service)
e visto gli errori eventuali (systemctl status connman.service)

gli errori (se no si trova il log) si possono vedere nel log di systemd:
journalctl -b

sul forum geexbox (se ho tradotto bene) avevo letto di problema simile al mio dove lo sfortunato utilizzatore aveva rinunciato a risolvere (pero usava una versione più vecchia)

a causa di imprevisti
per adesso sospendo tutto per qualche settimana
