Wifi Direct e Windows 7

Ciao a tutti! Vi scrivo perchè ho acquistato da poco uno smart tv LG dotato di funzionalità Screen Share, ovvero offre la possibilità di visualizzare sul monitor della TV lo schermo di un dispositivo dotato di WiDi o Wifi Direct.
Ho avuto modo di scoprire che WiDi è una tecnologia della Intel (sviluppata appunto grazie al connubio Intel\LG) e se il PC non è stato fabbricato WiDi-compatibile, non è possibile utilizzarla.
Ho visto che invece Wifi Direct è un protocollo certificato dalla Wifi Alliance e teoricamente ogni dispositivo dotato di wireless (802.11n) dovrebbe essere compatibile.. Al che ho installato il software Intel PROSet che dovrebbe abilitare il Wifi Direct sul pc, ma dato che la scheda di rete non è Intel, non vengono installati i drivers e il software stesso diventa inutile.
Da questa discussione (http://superuser.com/questions/417888/how-do-i-connect-a-laptop-running-windows-7-to-an-android-phone-using-wifi-direc) mi è parso di capire che, se solo si trovasse il software adatto, il Wifi Direct potrebbe essere utilizzato.
Io ho Windows 7 e una scheda wireless Atheros AR9002WB-1NG, la mia domanda ovviamente è: vi viene in mente qualcosa per far funzionare questo benedetto Wifi Direct?

Premetto. NON ho esperienza in WiFi Direct. Così per come è scritto sembrerebbe che il tuo TV diventa AP di se stesso. Devi solo trovare la parola magica sul TV e ti apparirà un nuovo AP per casa... o almeno così sembrerebbe.

ho paura che non funzioni così (ho provato ma non viene visualizzato nessun AP nel centro connessioni di rete di W7), c'è bisogno di un'applicazione che sappia visualizzare l'AP creato dal TV LG come ad esempio l'applicazione Wireless Display per i computer Intel-compatibili o l'applicazione che avvia il WiFi Direct sui dispositivi android... Mi sembra assurdo che non ne esista una per windows 7!

Non ho modo di vedere i link che hai postato... ma sempre rifacendomi a quanto citato da en.wikipedia mi verrebbe da pensare che è "fuori regola" il tv. Hai verificato che non ci siano firmware aggiornati da scaricare sul sito del produttore? La scansione delle reti wireless l'hai fatta in fase di Wi-Fi Protected Setup?

Ti ringrazio, comunque sono sicuro che il problema non sia nel Tv, quanto piuttosto nel trovare un'applicazione per il PC.. Quando hai un pò di tempo ti pregherei di guardare i due video che ho pubblicato, così ti fai un'idea di ciò che sto dicendo!

Interessa anche a me ...hai poi trovato un software alternativo a widi ?
Io sono riuscito con un pc che ha parziale supporto widi a riprodurre YouTube su tv.
Ma non sono ancora riuscito a fare un vero mirroring del monitor
