ciao,
sto gestendo una lan con un centinaio di apparati, vorrei diversificare i vari enti per creare un minimo di sicurezza e cercando in giro ho trovato un router cisco 1800 series che vorrei riutilizzare.

La mia idea e creare 4 sottoreti e poi sarà il 1800 a redirigere eventualmente i vari pacchetti e vi chiedo:

a) è il 18000 series adatto a questo scopo?
b) esiste una guida che mi aiuti nei vari settaggi?
c) è possibile settarlo in modo che i pacchetti della sottorete A viaggino solo in un senso nel senso che la sottorete A non deve sapere che esistono le sottoreti B, C e D ?

a) Sì, se hai 4 interfacce LAN e le porte sono routed (aka non sono porte switch). Altrimenti si complica la questione.

b) Il sito Cisco e tanta roba online

c) Sì, con le RACL (router acl) in ingresso alle interfacce

Ho anche un centro stella C3550 dove arrivano i dati attraverso una fibra ottica e da qui i dati vengono ripartiti verso diversi switch 2950.

mi pare cmq che se ti servono interfacce puoi installarle sul router...

Ho anche un centro stella C3550 dove arrivano i dati attraverso una fibra ottica e da qui i dati vengono ripartiti verso diversi switch 2950.

Ha due interfacce routed, fa0/0 e fa0/1.
Le altre due sono console e aux.

Il Catalyst 3550 è un multi layer switch, quindi è anche router.

per la precisione è un catalist C3550 12G, è anche un router?
