Ciao a tutti,
sto provando ad installare il driver di una scheda video su Red Hat 5.6.
La scheda č una ATI FIREPRO 2270. Ho scaricato il driver dal sito ma quando lo provo ad installare mi da questo errore:
Check if system has the tools required for installation.
fglrx installation requires that the system have kernel headers. /lib/modules/2.6.18-238.el5/build/include/linux/version.h cannot be found on this system.
fglrx installation requires that the system has gcc tool. gcc cannot be found on this system.
One or more tools required for installation cannot be found on the system. Install the required tools before installing the fglrx driver.
Optionally, run the installer with --force option to install without the tools.
Forcing install will disable AMD hardware acceleration and may make your system unstable. Not recommended.
a questo punto ho scaricato il kernel headers ed ho provato ad installarlo .... dopo varie vicissitudini sono arrivato al punto in non lo installa e mi da questo errore:
errore: impossibile creare %sourcedir /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES
che sembra voglia dire che manca l'installazione del pacchetto rpm build.
Allora ho provato a fare anche quella prendendo il pacchetto da CD. Ma se do il comando
rpm -ivh "nome del pacchetto" mi restituisce il seguente errore
errore: Dipendenze fallite:
elfutils necessita di rpm-build-4.4.2-47.el5.x86_64
libbeecrypt.so.6()(64bit) necessita di rpm-build-4.4.2-47.el5.x86_64
rpm = 4.4.2-47.el5 necessita di rpm-build-4.4.2-47.el5.x86_64
NON SO PIŲ CHE DEVO FARE!!! HO PERSO UNA GIORNATA DI LAVORO
QUALCUNO POTREBBE CONSIGLIARMI
