Wireless
With the SNC-M1W’s wireless LAN (WLAN) feature you can position your camera without needing to connect to an Ethernet cable. Wireless technology gives you more options to set up your Sony SNC-M1W camera exactly where you want it.
Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS)
Sony’s SNC-M1W includes DDNS, a built-in web server you can use with a standard web browser to view what your camera sees. That means you can be anywhere in the world and still be able to make sure your property, workplace or family is safe and secure. You don’t need special software to use the Dynamic Domain Name System.
MPEG-4
Your SNC-M1W utilizes MPEG-4 data for a high compression ratio that delivers smooth video and audio streaming over network environments - including those with limited bandwidth.
EZ Plugger Lite Software
This fantastic feature allows you to easily configure your camera and set up your network router. With EZ Plugger Lite you can securely view on the Internet what your Sony SNC-M1W sees. You’ll be automatically configured with your own IP Address and Port number.
Network Camera Recorder Software
This innovative software allows you to record video and sound on to your PC. Ideal for reviewing the results of your surveillance. A great asset if you’re investigating an encroachment on your property or discovering ways to improve your surveillance.
Audio Monitoring
With its built-in microphone and an external microphone input, your SONY SNC-M1W allows you to monitor your property both audio and visually. The SNC-M1W also comes equipped with a speaker output; allowing users to communicate with the remote site.
Alarm Function
When an alarm is triggered by the motion detection function, a preset message can be sent to up to three specified e-mail addresses, providing users with immediate feedback on the situation at the camera site. The motion detection function can be used when the unit is set to MPEG-4 mode
