posto anche qui il problema sperando di avere piu supporto di quello in windows8,
in pratica ho aggiornato questo pc da vista a win8, da allora mi risulta impossibile collegarmi alla rete da qui, a meno di non rendere pubblico l'SSID.
ho già provato creando manualmente una connessione di rete con tutti i dati e le impostazioni precedenti, la spunta su "connetti anche se la rete non trasmette il nome (SSID)" c'è, eppure mi da connessione wifi "disattivata".
(veramente questo se clicco sull'icona di notifica wifi me lo dice anche adesso che sono connesso...)
il router è un belkin F5D7633 e sul pc con win8 ho un dongle usb F5D7051.
il portatile con xp, tablet android e cell e altri pc si collegano invece tranquillamente come hanno fatto per anni con SSID nascosto.
il problema quindi è da imputare a windows8 (con vista funzionava sullo stesso pc), a qualcuno altro è già successo o ha qualche dritta?

stando a questi post, microsoft stessa sembra "vagamente" orientata a disincentivare l'SSID nascosto..
ma non è che mi convinca molta sta motivazione sulla sicurezza.
