Inizio a portarvi i primi test sulla linea 10mbits senza setting play... ovviamente con identici settaggi.
In generale
In generale posso dire che entrambi rispondono più o meno uguale al segnale degradato che ho, ma la principale differenza è che l'asus ha disconnessioni non appena il SNR DOWN va sotto 0.6 mentre il WAG regge fino 0.1.
Tenendo pari tempo i due router connessi in 72ore l'asus ha avuto 8 disconnessioni e rinegoziazioni con aggancio di una portante minore il WAG 1 solo.
Inizialmente Telecom mi aveva messo da sé un setting SNR a 6DB. Da 3 giorni ho chiesto di riportarmi a 12DB per testare la stabilità anche in questo caso.
In generale ho notato che passando da 6 a 12 la linea in upload rimane identica a livello di portante, mentre a livello di down le cose cambiano e di brutto: a 6 mi agganciava sempre sopra 10mbits alla prima connessione a 12 mai sopra 6.5mbits.
Inoltre il PING cambia drasticamente, raddoppia.
In generale a chi fa molto net play dai miei test, se ha una linea stabili, quasi conviene anziché fare l'opzione play a pagamento che manda i pacchetti raw con rischio di errori, chiedere di settare SNR a 6. Così facendo il ping dimezza.
XBOX360
L'asus all'accensione non mi vede la rete ma devo prima fare il test di connessione e poi va.
il WAG la console mi vede la rete libera mentre COD mi vede il nat moderato (non ho idea del perché).
WAG320N
Linea con setting a 6DB.
