Come da titolo, cerco consiglio per andare ad assemblare un PC economico sul quale andrà a girare un gestionale di poche pretese hw.
Come CPU/socket, mi basta montare un qualsiasi dual core: è PIU' che sufficiente.
Requisito indispensabile: la MB deve avere le funzioni raid perchè devo fare il mirroring con 2 HD e devo poter fare l'hot swap: Rimuovere un disco a caldo.
Ora non mi è ben chiaro se Hot Swap e Hot Plug siano la stessa cosa. O megio: se un determinato cipset/MB supporta l'hot plug, automaticamente supporta anche l'hot swap.
stando alle Caratteristiche della mia MB (http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/X48TurboTwins-WiFi) ad esempio, pare supporti solo l'HOT PLUG.

What is Hot Plug Function?
If the SATA / SATAII HDDs are NOT set for RAID configuration, it is called
“Hot Plug” for the action to insert and remove the SATA / SATAII HDDs
while the system is still power-on and in working condition.
However, please note that it cannot perform Hot Plug if the OS has been
installed into the SATA / SATAII HDD.
What is Hot Swap Function?
If SATA / SATAII HDDs are built as RAID1 or RAID 5 then it is called “Hot
Swap” for the action to insert and remove the SATA / SATAII HDDs while
the system is still power-on and in working condition.
eSATAII is equipped with Hot Plug capability that enables you to exchange
drives easily. For example, with eSATAII interface, you may simply plug your
eSATAII devices to the eSATAII ports instead of opening your chassis to
exchange your SATAII hard disk.
Sono sempre e comunque la stessa cosa?
Posso quindi installare l'OS sui due dischi messi in mirroring e scollegare e ricollegare a caldo uno dei 2 HD?
