Ci credo... HL1 Source era una mezza delusione, perche anche se hanno aggiornato l'engine con il source, le texture e il 3d dei npc/mob sono rimaste a quelle originali.... per cui sembravano sgranate e slavate (256x256 limite delle 3dfx dell'epoca)

Anche io ero tutto entusiasta di giocare ad HL1 Source... ma ho notato pochissimi miglioramenti...

il più grosso difetto di hl1, se giocato ai nostri tempi ovviamente, è il fatto che usa le texture con il filtro trilineare e manca l'anisotropico.

pur avendo hl1 ho ricomprato la versione source proprio per questo motivo. per il resto le differenze sono minime

C'è anche il mio tra quei voti :D, sono contento che l'abbiano portato su Steam, questi ragazzi si meritano una visibilità ancora più alta di quella che avevano fin'ora.

La mia copia originale di hl1 l'ho smarrita (era uno di quei tanti cd in allegato alle riviste videoludiche, mi pare si chiamasse "the game machine"...chissà se esiste ancora!), e ho una certa nostalgia che mi spingerebbe ad acquistarne una nuova copia!

Essendo una mod, sarà scaricabile gratuitamente, ma sarà una mod per Half-Life 2 che ricreerà, con la definizione grafica dei giochi odierni ed una nuova colonna sonora, gli ambienti e la storia di Half-Life 1.

In un primo periodo verrà rilasciata solo una parte della mod, che comprende una larga parte dell'avventura (fino al Lambda Core).
Successivamente verrà rilasciato il resto del gioco, comprendente una modalità multiplayer deathmatch, lo Xen e un nuovo finale che gli sviluppatori hanno voluto aggiungere; assicurano comunque che l'obiettivo principale è voler rimanere fedeli allo stile che Valve ha usato nella realizzazione di HL1.

Non ce la faccio più ad aspettarlo, questa descrizione non l'avevo letta. :eek:

Anche i sottotitoli in italiano, accidenti hanno fatto un gran bel lavoro, non vedo l'ora di assistere alla loro idea di HL.
