Velocità scrittura HDD su eSata drasticamente ridotta!

Salve a tutti,
vi scrivo perché non riesco a capire il motivo di una così drastica riduzione di velocità in scrittura su un HDD esterno collegato su eSata, rispetto a quando è collegato su USB 2.0 (date un'occhiata alle immagini)

USB 2.0

Su USB 2.0:
R: 33,6 MB/s (max)
W: 26,9 MB/s (max)

Su eSata:
R: 148 MB/s (max)
W: 12,9 MB/s (max)

Per quello che ne so, questo non è assolutamente normale...sapreste aiutarmi? :(

L'HDD è un Maxtor 6V250F0 (http://www.seagate.com/staticfiles/maxtor/en_us/documentation/data_sheets/diamondmax_10_data_sheet.pdf) 3.5" SATA 2 da 7200 rpm, con 16 MB di buffer,
il box esterno è un Eminent EM7050 (http://www.eminent-online.com/it/product/292/em7050-box-esterno-portatile-3-5-quot--esata.html) con supporto interno SATA 2 ed esterno USB 2.0 ed eSata,
il tutto collegato su un HP ProBook 4520s.

Se possibile proverei a collegare il disco direttamente e rifarei i test

Dunque il box e l'HDD funzionano benissimo...

Bastava attivare la cache di scrittura sul disco esterno...
