Stallo all'avvio di Win dopo aggiornamento BIOS

Saluti,

dopo aver aggiornato il BIOS dell' ASUS F1A75 il PC rimane "in stallo" a schermo nero per circa 10 secondi appena premo il tasto di avvio generale. Dopo di che parte senza problemi, avviando Windows 7 (Pro).
Anche ritornando a versioni precedenti (anche quella che usavo prima) il problema rimane.

La mia configurazione è:
OS: Windows 7 Pro
Scheda madre: ASUS F1A75 (modello base)
CPU: A8-3850 2.9Ghz
Hard Disk: SSD Crucial RealSSD M4 64Gb
Scheda video: Radeon HD6570 2Gb
Scheda audio: ASUS Xonar HDAV 1.3
RAM: Corsair Classic XMS3 1600Mhz 2x2Gb
Alimentatore: Corsair Builder 430W

Ho provato a resettare le impostazioni del BIOS togliendo la batteria per qualche minuto ma non risolve il problema.
