Incidente con Toshiba

Salve, mi è caduto uno dei portatili che ho nel quale è installato vista(!).

Non si è spento nella caduta, ma io pochi istanti dopo gli ho staccato l'alimentazione.

Dopo il primo riavvio mi è apparso questo errore:

Forzo il riavvio:

adesso quando provo ad avviarlo, dopo pochi istanti che si avvia normalmente si blocca con una schermata scura con la freccia del mouse. Ho provato ad avviare il disco di ripristino, ma stessa cosa.

Ho inserito una pen drive con ubuntu 11.10 e quando provo ad aprire il devices Vista questo è il messaggio:

NTFS is either inconsistent, or there is a hardware fault, or it's a
SoftRAID/FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows
then reboot into Windows twice. The usage of the /f parameter is very
important! If the device is a SoftRAID/FakeRAID then first activate
it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g.
/dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1). Please see the 'dmraid' documentation
for more details.

nella migliore delle ipotesi, si è solo danneggiato l'hard disk. Per esserne certo, provalo con una live di linux e vedi se funzionano tutti gli altri i devices, per escludere che si sia rotto qualcosa sulla motherboard.
In caso di esito positivo, cambi il disco fisso e reinstalli tutto...
