qualcuno ha mai usato il wake on wlan con una chiavetta usb?

ho visto che esistono chiavette usb con il wake on wlan, ma funzionano? o e' una funzionalita' supportata dal chipset che pero' non funziona?
qualcuno ha mai usato qualcosa di simile? come funziona?

Newer motherboards and plug-in wireless adapters do not have the required power connector and cable as some older systems provided. quindi riassumendo
se e' integrato nella mobo funziona
se non e' integrato nella mobo, quindi usb o schede esterne, funziona solo da standby a acceso
giusto?
