Dominio sotto attacco

Ho appena ricevuto due mail identiche dal gestore del mio dominio:

Dear Valued Customer,

It has come to our attention that your account xxxxxx may have been accessed and used illegitimately without your knowledge.

As a security precaution we have reset the password for your FTP and cPanel for the XXXXXX account to the following:

xXXXXXXXXX

We recommend changing this at your earliest convenience however strongly advise you to NOT change it back to the old password.

For more information on how this may have occurred please see:

In light of this we recommend scanning your systems with full scans using at least two different antivirus and anti-malware products to be 100% safe.

Ho Debian ma cosa dovrei scansionare se è stato attaccato il mio pannello?

Sono molto preoccupato, vorrei cambiare username ma non accedo, cosa potrebbero aver fatto al mio sito che mi sembra a posto?

edit: mi ha loggato, ho cambiato la password e sto facendo un massiccio backup di file e database, non si sa mai.

ti hanno semplicemente detto che il tuo dominio è sotto attacco e il pannello cpannel ha disabilitato temporaneamente il tuo login visto che è sotto attacco brute force.
ti hanno detto che ti hanno cambiata e che non devi ripristinare la vecchia quindi dati pace e attendi :)
