View Full Version : raid con scheda pci chiarimenti!

salve ho un computerino con ubuntu che non ha il controller raid integrato. con un controller pci posso risolvere a questa mancanza (vorrei fare un raid 1)...
ma è possibile fare il tutto tramite hardware o bisogna per forza formattare?

un vero controller hardware costa un botto di soldi; quelli economici sono host-based e la creazione di una nuova matrice cancella eventuali dati preesistenti sui dischi membri. abbi cura di scegliere un controller pci che abbia i driver per ubuntu.
