Salve ho un vecchio pc, del 2003, l'ultima volta usato a settembre ed aveva
un giga di ram. Lo accendo venerdi scorso e noto che il pc è lentissimo; mi
accorgo che "vede" solo 512 mega di ram. Apro il pc cambio posizione alla
ram ma nulla; aggiungo una sim da mezzo giga ma me la vede come 256.

Puliti i contatti, aggiornato la mb, reset bios ma non nulla.
Cos'è successo?

Il mancato riconoscimento della ram di solito avviene quando la ram non e perfettamente compatibile con la scheda madre oppure e guasta . Prova ad eseguire un memtest sulla ram .
