HDD Black 1TB WD1002FAEX sparisce casualmente al boot!

Salve! 2 giorni fa ho acquistato e ricevuto 2 hard disk Sata Western Digital Black Caviar da 1TB, modello WD1002FAEX.
La mia configurazione è quella in firma, Asus P5Q Deluxe con chipset Intel P45, processore oc Q6600, e fino ad allora, 2 HDD Sata in Raid 0, da 160gb ciascuno.
Ho collegato i due Seagate alle porte Sata 0 e 1, e i due WD nuovi alle porte Sata 2 e 5 (poi 2 e 3).
Li ho configurati con una Array da 400GB in Raid 0, e la restante parte da 800GB in Raid 1 Mirroring.

Da subito ho avuto problemi di rilevamento dei due hdd, in maniera apparentemente casuale, il disco 3 spariva dal rilevamento del controller Intel al boot, visualizzando failure sul Raid 0, e al riavvio successivo ricompariva, dando "Normal" sul raid 0 e "Rebuild" per quanto riguarda il raid 1.
Ho provato a controllare i collegamenti alle porte dei cavi Sata, appena aperti dalla confezione, e cambiare l'originaria posizione Sata 2 e Sata 5 (adesso Sata 2 e 3), senza ottenere risultati.
Come ultima prova ho staccato i due seagate, e collegato l'alimentazione Sata dei due, sui WD pensando magari ad un problema dei cavi elettrici dell'alimentatore... Pensavo di aver risolto quando poco fa, all'accensione a freddo, mi ha dato un boot failure, non ho visto quale dei due hdd è "sparito" perché ero distante dal pc, riavviando, nuovamente boot failure, allora entro nel bios e vedo che è settato correttamente il primo disco array raid 0, esco... e si avvia normalmente con la voce "rebuild" sul raid 1.

Non so letteralmente dove mettere le mani, inizialmente pensavo fosse un problema dell'alimentatore che non reggeva i due nuovi hdd, ma ho staccato i vecchi seagate, i cavi non li muovo minimamente e non ho urtato nulla...
Potrebbe essere un problema del disco? Esiste un modo per verificare la bontà del collegamento scheda madre <-> hard disk?

Per sicurezza prova a cambiare anche i cavi sata dei dischi .
Poi dovresti fare un test dei dischi utilizzando l' utility diagnostica che trovi sul sito della seagate . Poi fai un test anche con il programma hdtune , e visualizza i dati s.m.a.r.t. , se il disco ha problemi te li segnala in giallo o in riosso .
Per fare questi test , devi collegare i dischi su un normale connettore sata , non sul connettore raid .

Nella mia scheda madre, non ci sono connettori Sata raid o non raid. Tutto è impostabile da bios e controllato dal controller Intel.
Secondo le FAQ di Intel, finché sono in raid, da Windows non è possibile accedere ai dati SMART attraverso programmi di terze parti, ma se vi fossero problemi verrebbero segnalati dal loro programma.
In compenso, attraverso Ubuntu/Linux, riesco ad accedere ai dati S.M.A.R.T. e sembrano tutti davvero ottimi.

E' possibile che sia un problema dell'elettronica di uno dei due hdd visto che riavviando viene visto nuovamente? O è per forza un problema del collegamento?

In ogni caso proverò a vedere se ho altri cavi Sata e cambia qualcosa... essendo un comportamento random sporadico, passa tantissimo tempo dalla messa in atto della "prova" al problema...

Non esiste nessun programma che mi verifica i link di comunicazione?

I test abortiti sono stati abortiti da me poco dopo perchè troppo lenti.

Poco fa ho effettuato uno short test per hdd e sono stati completati con successo in tempi "normali".

Ciao,ho trovato questo post googleando per lo stesso problema.....
Ho 2 macchine identiche(i7-950/P6T WS Pro)entrambe con mirror tra i WD1002FAEX eppure di punto in bianco l'hdd sparisce e al successivo riavvio compare l'interfaccia per il ripristino dati del mirror anche se gli hdd in questione sono NUOVI e sostituiti.....
Solo una cosa però non ho riscontrato nella discussione....

Gli HDD in questione sono SATA3(6Gbps) e le Mb sono Sata2(3Gbps),fin qui mi sembra evidente.....ma chi ha provato a limitare fisicamente(con il jumperino)a Sata2?
io ho provato e il problema sembra esser risolto.....

Proseguo questo post per aggiornamenti

Nonostante 4 hdd dello stesso modello il problema si è ripresentato,nel 33% dei casi l'hdd sparisce se si avvia la macchina a freddo,non ho trovato aggiornamenti firmware,ho jumperato varie impostazioni,ma non sono giunto alla risoluzione del problema.
Chiedo delucidazioni nel caso qualcuno avesse aggiornamenti su questo prodotto!!!
