[debian live] cannot mount volume

ciao a tutti, sto cercando di recuperare i dati dal portatile di un amico. il portatile da un errore all'avvio di windows e non parte neanche in modalità provvisoria. così ho pensato di usare un live cd di linux per salvare il salvabile dall'hd copiandolo su una chiavetta. la mia scelta è ricaduta (un po' a caso, non sono un esperto di linux) su debian live.
arrivo al punto. il sistema vede l'hd in questione ma quando faccio per aprirlo ecco il messaggio che ricevo:

cannot mount volume
invalid mount option when attempting to mount volume

che posso fare?

Masterizza una live di ubuntu, che non dà di questi problemi. Fai prima. ;)
