The main unit measures 144 (W) x 160.3 (H) x 50 (D) mm, and weighs 750 g (1.65 lbs). 140 mm or 120 mm fans can be strapped onto it from either sides.

Including LGA-1366, LGA-1156, and LGA-775 using its bundled bolt-through retention module. AMD sockets AM3/AM2+ are also supported, but require an optional RM kit. Prolimatech's newest creation will be available from April 2nd, at a price of 60 EUR.

Quelli della Prolimatech ce l' hanno con questi nomi biblici.. Oltre all' Armageddon tra i prototipi ce n' erano due chiamati Jericho e Genesis.. Che poi non so che fine abbiano fatto.. :boh:

Per le temperature nessun problema, anche se sono di qualche grado superiori a quelle del Megahalems. Quello che mi interessa di più è la compatibilità con le ventole da 14 (ho speso quasi 60 EUR tra ventole da 14 + spedizione e non mi va di aver speso soldi inutilmente). Sì, c'è anche il Thermalright IFX-14 ma occupa troppo spazio. Ovviamente il tutto lo faccio sempre in ottica silent ;).

Queste (http://www.noiseblocker.de/de/produkt_luefter_nb-blacksilentpro_pk-1.php) sono le ventole che ci abbinerò e che già possiedo.

Mi son sempre chiesto anch'io che fine abbiano fatto gli altri progetti presentati da Prolimatech lo scorso anno :confused:... Però il prototipo Jericho mi piaceva come nome :Perfido:

Presumo lo sostituirà, nei listini viene a circa 2-3€ in più di costo, utilizza anch'esso una ventola 120mm, gli ingombri e il peso sono sostanzialmente comparabili (questo pesa 20 e qualcosa grammi in meno, una bazzecola).

Scrivo qui, anche se alcuni di voi avranno letto del mio problema sul 3d delle gigabyte x58.


Ho una x58a ud3r e ho comprato un bel armageddon leggendo sul sito che è compatibile con questa mobo.

Purtroppo una volta che mi sono trovato a montarlo ho scoperto che è si compatibile...ma solo in una configurazione, ossia con il lato più lungo orientato perpendicolarmente alle ram.

Di fatti se si prova a montare parallelo alle ram, come si vede ovunque, la pipe più esterna va a sbattere contro il dissipatore del chipset non permettendo l'allineamento con la cpu e con la staffa di bloccaggio.

Ovviamente questa cosa non publicizzata fa un po' girare le palle, ho già scritto alla prolimatech senza aver ancora ricevuto risposta.

Voi che ne pensate??? Per caso in rete avete trovato foto dell'armageddon montato su di una x58a ud3r????
