[blackjack] interpretazione del True count

E' noto che con tanti tanti ma tantissimi esericizi a blackjack è possibile determinare la probabilità la probabilità di fare un punto alto oppure basso e in alcuni casi è anche possibile determinare le carte. Io finora ho provato ad esercitarmi con due tipi di conteggio, l'Hi-Lo (famoso e conosciuto) e l'Omega II (più preciso ma molto più complicato) solo che non avevo capito che dovevo trasformare il running count in true count perché pensavo che questi due fossero due cose separate ma ho capito che non è così quindi adesso so calcolare il true count. su un sito ho torvato questo (riferito ad un deck di 6 mazzi:

You have determined that the running count is 12. You look at that discard tray
and see that three decks have been played which means that there are still three deck
remaining. You divide the running count of 12 by 3 and you get a true count of four.

ma dopo c'è questo pezzo:

The way you get your advantage with car counting is by betting more when
the count is positive and betting the minimum when it is negative. You determine
the size of your bets by the true count. Each bet is a unit and it is determined by
the size of your base bet.

ora se il conteggio è negativo che devo fare? cioè se il running count è negativo, anche se divido resta tale. Quindi scommetto il minimo finché il conteggio non torna positivo?
