La nuova RAM da 512 MB viene vista solo a 240 MB.
Ho provato a testarla con MemTest86+ e anche lui ne vede solo 240 MB già alla partenza del test.
Everest anche lui vede 240 MB di memoria fisica ma legge una capacità di 512 MB.
Inizialmente il sistema la vedeva tutta, poi dopo poche ore la vede così. Se ne può essere bruciata una parte?
Esiste un programma che possa darmi qualche informazione? (Memtest86 come detto la vede già ridotta).
Sul test del chipset mi viene detto questo:
Slot di memoria:
Slot DRAM #1 256 MB (PC133 SDRAM)
Slot DRAM #2 256 MB (PC133 SDRAM)
Vuol dire che non supporta 512 MB?
La scheda madre però li supporta ...
* 4 memory banks (2 slots) using three 168-pin unbuffered DIMM
* Single or double-sided DIMMS with gold-plated contacts with clock specifications of 100 or 133 MHz
* Supports a maximum memory size of 1 GB

Forse devo settare qualcosa a 128 bit invece che 64?
