Upgrade/overclock di P4 2.4 Ghz

Ho un vecchio Pentium 4 che vorrei upgradare e (se possibile) overcloccare giusto per renderlo "più snello". Sono disposta a spendere max un 150 euro per acquistare nuovi componenti. Mi consigliereste cosa comprare/sostituire e come potrei overcloccarlo? Vi ringrazio in anticipo. Serena.
Vi riporto l'attuale configurazione. Se avete bisogno di altri dettagli chiedete pure.

Non vale proprio la pena spendere 150€ per aggiornare un PC del genere (lo dico da possessore di un sistema simile, come puoi vedere dalla firma:rolleyes: ); tra l'altro la tua mobo supporta solo l'FSB a 400 e 533 Mhz qiundi non puoi montare neanche i P4 veloci con bus quad pumped a 800 Mhz, come puoi vedere qui

Tieni presente che con la stessa cifra ti puoi assemblare un sistema nuovo + performante e anche + efficiente come consumi energetici (per esempio basato su skt AM2+)....l'unico upgrade che ti consiglio è quello di sostituire il modulo DDR da 256 Mb con uno da 1 Gb in modo da raggiungere 1,5 Gb totali...la spesa dovrebbe aggirarsi sui 20-30€.
Pe rquanto riguarda l'overclock, la tua mobo non è molto adatta allo scopo, poichè il chipset SiS su cui è basata probabilmente non ha i fix, per cui overcloccando il bus di sistema automaticamente vanno fuori specifica tutte le periferiche; cmq per assicurartene puoi andare nel BIOS e vedere se esistono voci che riguardano le frequenze PCI e AGP

Ma quando nelle caratteristiche del processore leggo

non significa che può arrivare fino a 3200 con un OC ? :help:
