In particolare mi piace la GA-MA785GPM-UD2H (con sideport memory) o al limite la GA-MA785GM-UD2H (senza sideport) ma mi sembra non siano disponibili in giro. Io trovo solo la GA-MA785GM-US2H (audio e condensatori peggiori rispetto alla ud2h giusto?) a circa 60-70€. Qualche dritta dove cercare altrimenti (anche fuori Italia al limite)?
ps. a prima vista la GA-MA785GPM-UD2H si trova ma il prezzo è evidentemente sballato, (segno che è su qualche listino di un importatore ma mai realmente importata)
pps. a me interessa molto il fattore efficienza (fissa personale)

E' difficile parlare di efficienza nei consumi nella sola mobo, senza tener conto dell'hardware che andrai ad installare sopra. Poi bisognerebbe considera anche le possibili impostazioni di bios... tutte funzioni mirate al risparmio energetico. Anche asus, su questo, nella serie MA4785 non è da meno. Penso che puoi stare tranquillo su questa questione, sono molte le tecnologie oggigiorno create a questo scopo... come per le cpu, la stessa AMD non si tira certo indietro.

La sezione audio tra le due è uguale: realtek 889A
Per quanto riguarda i condensatori sembra esserci questa differenza. In realtà, su questa cosa, sono un po' scettico. Non vedo particolari differenze tra un elettrolitico economico e un elettrolitico economico. Molti altri fattori possono influenzare la vita stessa delle capacità... basta pensare alla qualità dell'alimentatore, al calore e via dicendo.

Grazie delle info, intanto sto studiando in giro e sono sempre più orientato verso questa scheda, si parla molto bene sia di gigabyte che di questa scheda.
Sui consumi invece ti grantisco che anche a parità di requisiti e di chipset stesso ci sono discrete differenze tra un produttore ed un altro e tra una scheda ed un'altra. Per intenderci questa è una scheda che con configurazione componenti adeguata dovrebbe stare sotto i 40W in idle, mentre le varie asus e msi di pari livello sono sopra i 50w (a pari configurazione). Anche la regolazione delle ventole (quella cpu in particolare) dovrebbe essere di qualità superiore (in idle la ventola scende sotto i 500 rpm e regola bene, mentre asus scende abbastanza meno) quindi meno rumore.

il discorso che fai non è proprio esatto nel senso che tra tutte le micro atx ddr2 presentate in questo topic la differenza di consumo sarà quasi uguale , in primis perchè è il chipset a fare la differenza e visto che tutte hanno il 785g..

poi ovvio nel bios si vann oa disabilitare le cose che non servono che ne so una friware che non uso.. ma risparmio 1 al massimo 2 watt..

ciao, che sappia io tutte le schede con sb710 o sb750 hanno la funzione ACC quindi qui sei ok
per i consumi vai sul sito www.silentpcreview.com, è il punto di referimento in termini di consumi e silenziosità, lì vedrai che quanto dico è testato (vedi ad esempio il confronto gigabyte msi e poi le prove di asus a parte, tutte chipset 790gx o 780g non ricordo bene), il chipset è sì importante ma anche l'implementazione che i vari produttori ne fanno conta e parecchio, la giga in idle sta sui 35W, la msi (ma anche la asus) sta sui 55W (tutto il sistema, stessi componenti).

Alla fine mi sono deciso e ho preso una GA-MA785G-UD3H. Le prime impressioni sono buone, già a default è molto silenziosa e si è configurata più che decentemente (sono su ubuntu 9.10). Da quanto sentivo in giro pensavo che il chipset amd 785g mi avrebbe dato molti più problemi con linux ma devo dire almeno a livello base (2D) va più che bene (per ora uso i driver "open" ubuntu). Adesso sto cercando di settare i vari parameteri (volt, frequenze e volocità ventole) da sistema operativo e cerco programmi/suggerimenti adatti dato che su linux purtroppo i vari speedfan, k10stat e le utility gigabyte non funzionano, comunque già le impostazioni del bios sono più che soddisfacenti quindi lo farò con calma.
ps. già solo al primo sguardo la qualità costruttiva della scheda è su un altro pianeta (per me che vengo da una Asrock AliveNF7..)

Ciao a tutti..devo fare una nuova configurazione gioco per un amico con Phenom II 965, 4gb ddr3 g.skill 1600, sapphire radeon 4890 1gb vapor-x, ecc..
come mobo avevo pensato a una asrock ma qua sul forum di hanno consigliato la Gigabyte MA785GT-UD3H (785G,AM3,ATX,DDR3,VGA,AMD), quello che vi chiedo è se esiste una scheda con tali prestazioni ma senza vga integrata..

come mobo avevo pensato a una asrock ma qua sul forum di hanno consigliato la Gigabyte MA785GT-UD3H (785G,AM3,ATX,DDR3,VGA,AMD), quello che vi chiedo è se esiste una scheda con tali prestazioni ma senza vga integrata..

Non dovrebbero esserci problemi nel caso di ram con dissipatore basso.
Nel caso, invece, di ram con dissipatore alto già sulla asus si presentano problemi nei primi slot vicino alla cpu.

Ho appena preso una Gigabyte MA785GT-UD3H sulla quale montare un Phenom II x4 965 c3, e controllando nella lista dei processori supportati ho visto che viene supportato solo dopo la versione 3 del bios.
Se quando mi arriva ha una versione meno recente che faccio?? :doh:

Potrebbe funzionare anche senza riconoscere correttamente il processore, e dopo aver verificato che il sistema è stabile si potrebbe aggiornare il BIOS. Anzi, anche senza verificare la stabilità del sistema, visto che le Gigabyte hanno il BIOS di backup incluso.

La sideport la ritrovi sui modelli siglati GMP.
La dotazione di serie è limitata come in ogni altra mobo di fascia media/economica e non si riscontrano problemi con win7.
Come ti ho già consigliato nel thread della asus, se sei in cerca del top di gamma AMD, orientarti anzi su chipset 790FX.

Non è che sono in cerca del top, o meglio... Il 790 rispetto al 785 sembra avere soltanto una maggiore facilità di overclock e alcuni canali pci in più. Dato che queste due features non mi interessano e che la differenza di costo tra i due tipi di mother board non è trascurabile ho deciso di orientarmi sul 785. Quello che chiedevo (e mi rendo conto che la domanda non poteva essere posta in modo meno comprensibile) è se esistono mother board che montano il 785 con una dotazione meno risicata... è più uno sfizio che altro, mi piace che nelle scatole ci sia anche un po di superfluo...

Ho fatto una configurazione a un amico con Phenom II 965, 4Gb DD3 G.Skill 1600, Ati HD4890, Wd Caviar Black. S.O. Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Ti posso assicurare che va una meraviglia, mai un crash, un problema o altro. Ha tutto quello di cui hai bisogno, anche io all'inizio puntavo al chip 790 ma ho visto che l'unico vantaggio rispetto al 785 è la possibilità di utilizzare il raid 5 (cosa che a noi interessava meno di zero).. Consigliata al 100%, costa il giusto, è ben fatta, buona disposizione dei componenti...
Anche la mia prossima mobo sarà una Gigabyte..

mi unisco anche io ai possessori di gigabyte con una 785GT-UD3H, provengo da una asus m4a785tdv-evo.. so di non aver fatto salti a livello di prestazioni, ma il richiamo di gigabyte (ho avuto prima una P35-DS3R e poi una 780G-UD3H) è stato irresistibile..inoltre hanno una gestione pwm delle ventole a mio avviso migliore e meno problemi di compatibilità (pare che la asus fosse incompatibile con la mia scheda video). :cool:

Alla fine mi sono deciso e ho preso una GA-MA785G-UD3H. Le prime impressioni sono buone, già a default è molto silenziosa e si è configurata più che decentemente (sono su ubuntu 9.10). Da quanto sentivo in giro pensavo che il chipset amd 785g mi avrebbe dato molti più problemi con linux ma devo dire almeno a livello base (2D) va più che bene (per ora uso i driver "open" ubuntu). Adesso sto cercando di settare i vari parameteri (volt, frequenze e volocità ventole) da sistema operativo e cerco programmi/suggerimenti adatti dato che su linux purtroppo i vari speedfan, k10stat e le utility gigabyte non funzionano, comunque già le impostazioni del bios sono più che soddisfacenti quindi lo farò con calma.
ps. già solo al primo sguardo la qualità costruttiva della scheda è su un altro pianeta (per me che vengo da una Asrock AliveNF7..)

Gigabyte GA-MA790GPT-UD3H (790GX)

La trovo da informatica multimediale a soli 84€ iva inclusa. E' affidabile al 100% o dà problemi (di qualsiasi genere e tipo)? Tenete conto che, per il primo anno, ci monterei una GTS250 (in attesa di potermi permettere una 5870 :D) abbinata ad un Phenom II X4 965 e a delle Kingston Hyper-X 1333 cas 7. Queste ram vanno a 1,5v.....dite che avrò problemi? O la mobo le tiene tranquillamente al loro voltaggio default senza per forza doverle mettere a 1,65v?

Posto anche quì dato che nella sezione dedicata a windows nessuno sa cosa dirmi e poi secondo me è un problema di settaggi del bios...

Salve, ho appena installato Win7 Enterprise 64bit e mi succede una cosa stranissima: Se avvio il pc senza dischi nell'unità ottica il computer si pianta subito dopo il post e non da più segni di vita mentre se nell'unità ottica c'è il dvd di win7, dopo avermi chiesto di premere un tasto per avviare da dvd, se non lpremo niente, il pc si avvia correttamente.
Cambiando da bios la sequenza di boot da 1.cd-rom, 2.HD a 1.HD, 2.cd-rom il pc non si avvia più, si blocca subito dopo il post.
Il mio hardware è il seguente: MoBo Gigabyte GA-M785GMT udh3, AthlonII 630, 8GB ram corsair, VGA integrata nella scheda madre. Poi ho masterizzatore DVD attaccato sul canale pata, HD 60GB maxtor messo a slave sullo stesso canale del DVD e 6 HD sata di diverse dimensioni che occupoano tutti e 6 i canali sata disponibili.
Non so se può essere utile per la soluzione del problema ma ve lo dico lo stesso... in fase di installazione di win7 (ho provato anche con XP e faceva lo stesso scherzo) se prima di iniziare l'installazione staccavo l'HD Maxtor pata, non riuscivo in nessun modo a installare il sistema operativo su un disco sata (disco su cui ho sempre tenuto il sistema operativo senza problemi) perchè mi usciva un messaggio del tipo "impossibile individuare una partizione di sistema o crearne una". Ho provato a eliminare e rifare la partizione ma dopo averla ricreata mi veniva vista come partizione RAW ed era impossibile formattarla o installarci qualsiasi cosa. Appena ho riattaccato il disco Pata il problema è scomparso e sono riuscito a installare win7.
Qualcuno sa aiutarmi?

Grazie, problema risolto. Era effettivamente un'impostazione del bios messa male, solo che è messa male di default! Comunque il casino l'avevo fatto io. Ho attaccato il disco (Sata, sul pata ci sono solo dei dati) sulla porta Sata numero 5, cioè quella con cui volendo, assieme alla 6, si può creare un array raid; è bastato forzare da bios quelle due porte a funzionare in ide mode (mi sembra) e tutto è andato a posto.
A futura memoria per i posteri aggiungo che se avete attaccati sia dischi sata che pata, all'installazione di windows, anche se il sistema viene installato su un disco sata, il master boot sector verrà IN OGNI CASO scritto sul disco pata e quindi, se staccate il disco pata dopo aver installato windows il sistema non si avvierà perchè non sarà in grado di trovare il settore di avvio. La soluzione è installare Windows tenendo staccati tutti i dischi pata durante l'intera installazione e riattaccarli solo dopo che il sistema è stato configurato correttamente.

come ti ho detto adesso uso quelli proprietari ati, ma non c'è bisogno di scaricarli e installarli manualmente dal sito ati (a meno che tu non voglia provare gli ultimi disponibili... a tuo rischio), basta andare nella sezione apposita (driver hardware o simile adesso non mi ricordo sono al lavoro) e selezionare l'uso dei driver proprietari e fa tutto lui compresi gli aggiornamenti.
I primi tempi ho usato quelli open poi ho provato quelli ati e visto che andavano bene li ho lasciati.
In questi giorni fra l'altro sono usciti i nuovi driver 10.1 (8.69 per linux in realtà) e a breve dovrebbe aggiornarmeli (poi controllo)

Sto assemblando una nuova macchinetta per giocare e avevo pensato alla seguente configurazione :

MB = GIGABYTE GA-MA785G Series - AMD 785G
CPU = AM3 AMD Phenom II X4 965 4x512KB
ALI = Enermax 425W Modu-82+ Vers.2.3 ATX 20/24Pin PCI
Scheda Video = sapphire hd 3870
RAM = XXX ma <= 90 euri

Le mie domande sono le seguenti:

1) riguardo la ram cosa mi consigliate per quella scheda madre e per quel prezzo ? esistono reali differenze tra un pc1333 o un 1600 Mhz ?

2) riguardo l'alimentazione sono realmente indeciso.Considerando che avrò sempre, pur aggiornando la Scheda video, una configurazione a singola video card potrei necessitare di più potenza sul 12V ?

Sulle prestazioni incidono molto anche le latenze quindi dipende. Personalmente non credo che la ram incida comunque molto ma devo dire che non me ne intendo quindi mi fermo qui.
Per l'alimentatore se non fai grossi overclock e non pensi di montare una futura nvidia fermi top di gamma (si dice consumerà quasi 300 watt) mi sembra più che sufficiente. Io poi non amo alimentatori molto sovradimensionati che finiscono col lavorare quasi sempre a meno del 20% del carico e quindi con scarsa efficienza.

Per l'alimentatore se non fai grossi overclock e non pensi di montare una futura nvidia fermi top di gamma (si dice consumerà quasi 300 watt) mi sembra più che sufficiente. Salve a tutti, vorrei abbinare la GIGABYTE MA785GMT-UD2H AM3 con DDR3, CPU Athlon II x2 245 e una ATI HD5450 con disspiazione passiva e low-profile per un HTPC in gado di fari girare qualche videogioco tranquillo (tipo Sims3..) alla risoluzione di 720p.

Sapete se esistono problemi di compatibilità con la serie 5xxx della ATI e questa scheda?

La mia GA-MA785GMT-U2H ha le porte USB sempre alimentate, anche a PC spento: se non stacco la spina il mouse lampeggia che è una bellezza, la tastiera lascia accesa la spia del caps lock, un hub usb è sempre acceso, le casse audio sono sempre accese! Ho controllato nel bios (che ho aggiornato all'ultima release) ma non ho trovato nessuna impostazione:eek: , ho guardato la piastra e non ci sono ponticelli da chiudere:cry: . Insomma è diventata una cosa che non approvo questa alimentazione continua! Uno spreco inutile di energia e la mia scrivania sembra un albero di Natale!:bsod:

Un vs collega mi ha fatto notare che le v core di default superano 1.30 a me vanno addirittura a 1.45 per il primo core senza fare alcun oc.

ragazzi anche io sono un felice possesore di questa mb, avrei bisogno di un aiuto nel configurare il tutto perchè ho montato un phenom x4 955 + un kit g.skill 1600 da 4 gb (f3-12800cl9-4gbnq)
ora come dovrei configurarle per ottenere il meglio ? perchè per ora vanno a 667 e ovviamente non ho mai messo mano in questo bios, vorrei sfruttare le ram al max e overclockare il procio il meno possibile non toccando le frequenze della scheda video. è possibile? ^^

Ciao sapete se posso usare easy energy saver (ho una mobo gigabyte basata su chipset 785g) insieme a k10stat? EES dovrebbe gestire anche le fasi.
Volevo usare easytune 6 al posto di k10stat ma come funzionalità non ci sono paragoni!

Ciao a tutti.
Ho una GA-MA785GMT-UD2H ma da subito le porte eSata non hanno funzionato. Dopo una richiesta di chiarimenti al supporto tecnico gigabyte è risultato che bisognava abilitare la modalità AHCI nel Bios e reinstallare il sistema operativo. Così e stato fatto ma continuo a non avere risposta dalle porte eSata. Per testarle uso un box per hd esterno multibay Icydock (MB561US-4S) ma nulla di fatto. Qui confesso la mia ingoranza (visto che le suddette procedure sono state eseguite dalla persona che ha montato il pc) ma è necessario installare anche qualche tipo di driver per abilitare le porte eSata? Il sistema operativo e Windows XP; non è che esiste qualche incompatibilita di sorta? Ringrazio in anticipo tutti coloro che vorranno aiutarmi.
