Ciao a tutti,
sono nuovissimo del forum e spero di scrivere nell'area giusta...
ho un gran problema che non riesco proprio a spiegarmi sulla rete aziendale...funziona tutto benissimo, ma quando mi collego ad un qualsiasi switch in telnet se resto attivo nessun problema...ma se mollo il terminale per un tempo superiore ai 10 secondi (neanche il tempo di leggere quello che serve) perdo la connessione e devo ricominciare dall'inizio...

a qualcuno è mai capitata una cosa simile?vi assicuro che è una cosa frustrante alla lunga... :muro: :help:

devi vedere com'è impostato il valore exec-timeout che di default è di 10 minuti
in enable se fai exec-timeout 10 imposti 10 minuti prima di far cadere la connessione, se fai exec-timeout 0 10 imposti 10 secondi...

Grazie per la dritta Irondream...ho impostato l'exec-timeout a 10 min sia sul line con 0 che sul line vty 0 4 ma purtroppo il problema rimane..."connection to host lost" dopo qualche secondo di inattività (facendo attenzione direi circa 25/30 secondi)...
Può essere un problema di instradamento del traffico sulla rete? xò perchè mi capita solo sugli switch (ne ho 7 e per tutti il problema è lo stesso) mentre con i router tutto ok...? :help:

riesci a postare la configurazione dello switch e le caratteristiche della rete?

come caratteristiche della rete cosa ti interessa sapere? è una vlan 100Mbit..con all'interno un DC, exchange, dhcp, dns, switch e router per la connessione con la "casa madre"

Non vedo il motivo di disabilitarlo.(P.S. non c'entra niente con il tuo problema ma offre un molto minimale sistema di criptazione password)

Grazie per il post cisketto ma purtroppo anche eliminando il timeout il problema persiste...a questo punto non credo che sia lo switch ad interrompere la comunicazione col client o viceversa...per qualche strana ragione se non hanno un continuo scambio di pacchetti si perdono...alcuni mi hanno consigliato di creare una route statica sul pc ed indirizzare il traffico degli switch...che ne dici? il problema è che sono un junior e non so proprio bene bene come fare :D
