virtualdubmod non funziona

ho aperto una nuova discussione perchè in quella dove avevo scritto nn ho avuto risposta, anche perchè l' ultimo mes inviato datava 2004!!!

Brevemente, vorrei unire due file mkv, (praticamente lo stesso film diviso in due parti, e vorrei capire l' utilità di questo fenomeno che l'' ha divisi), ho provato con virtualdubmod ho aggiornato i codec con matroska pack, ora provo ad aprire la prima parte del film e mi esce fuori questo:

VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to
decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media
Player, are not suitable. Only 'Direct stream copy' is available for this
video.


Premetto che non ho messo tutta la lista perchè sarebbe stata infinita!!!

Qualche suggerimento?

Ho win vista; e prima di aprire modifico il campo in"direct stream copy"

Se il programma ti dice che è disponibile unicamente la funzione 'Direct Stream Copy' non ci dovrebbero essere comunque problemi se l'unica cosa che vuoi fare è unire i 2 video. Apri il primo, poi FILE --> APPEND SEGMENT e selezioni il secondo file. Infine SAVE AS. Prova e facci sapere se ha funzionato.

Prova ad usare MKVMerge incluso in MKVToolnix (http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/). Cerca nella sezione Downloads sotto Windows; però non so se funziona anche sotto Vista. QUI (http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/win32/pre/mkvtoolnix-unicode-2.4.1-build20081207-44-setup.exe) il link diretto per il download.
