mi chiedevo se esistono siti web specializzati sulla programmazione in genere che mostrano, approfondiscono le ultime tecnologie con riferimento ad api, design pattern ed altro.

penso non ce ne siano come intendi tu.. posso solo dirti che per quanto ne so io il migliore di java è quello della sun(ma dai?) e del c/c++ www.cplusplus.com..

There are a number of different resources for the Progress community, each with their own attributes. PEG, the Progress E-mail group (peg.com), is e-mail based and has a large and very active community and is often the best place for simple question and answer type interaction. PSDN has both a library of whitepapers and presentations and a collection of forums. The traffic is less heavy there than PEG, but includes a larger percentage of people who work for PSC and is particularly good for architectural discussions. OE Hive is focused more on providing open source projects and information than it is for discussion, although there is certainly discussion here about those projects. I think all three are important for any Progress developer.
