grazie a tutti.

Can't save your illustrator files? The solution!
=NEOkeitaro:iconNEOkeitaro: reports, September 28

I recently had a problem with illustrator CS3, but it seems that the solution will work with all versions. My problem was simple, but terrible: I wasn't able to save my files in Adobe Illustrator. This may have happened to you, or maybe it will -so read this carefully.

My advice is as simple as the problem sounds: if you play with the windows services, DO NOT, I say DO NOT set the spooler on manual, even though you don't print anything. The spooler service, used by windows to save files for your printer, is used by Adobe Illustrator when you save a file. If this service is not set on automatic, the software will freeze and close without saving your files. When it happens to you after some hours of intense and passionate work, it can mess you haircut quite a bit.

So, if you have that kind of problem, check out the spooler service (to see the services on XP or vista, just do windows+R, then type "services.msc" without the quotes) to see if it's set on manual. If you want to mess up with your services to have a faster computer, DO NOT set the spooler service on manual. I think I've said it enough, you should remember now.

I hope this will help a few people, I myself was glad when I found out how to save my files again.
