ciao a tutti...
Piccolo cappellino introduttivo.
Grazie a tutti in anticipo.
questo è il README del programmino

Files suffixed with '.gz' are compressed using GNU zip, aka gzip.
You'll need gzip, gunzip or an equivalent to decompress. Expand
using: gunzip -c <name> | tar xvf -
Files suffixed with '.Z' are compressed using Unix compress. Expand
using: uncompress -c <name> | tar xvf -
Files suffixed with '.bck' are VMS save-sets, aka backup files. To
ensure that the backup file is downloaded correctly, be sure to enable
Binary transfers in your FTP client. Then, once the file has been
moved to the VMS machine, issue the following DCL commands to extract
the files:
$ set file/attr=(rfm:fix,lrl=32256,rat=none) {name}.bck
$ backup {name}.bck/save *.*
