ciao a tutti...mi ritrovo con due pc abbastanza scassati...volevo salvare il salvabile da entrambi e tenerne uno solo con i pezzi diciamo "migliori" tra i due: uno è un intel pentium 4 1.6 GHz, l'altro un amd 1.2 Ghz...
quale tengo tra i due secondo voi?
la ram posso spostarla da uno all'altro? e i lettori/masterizzatori? e le schede pci?
ogni consiglio sarà decisamente gradito

il problema è che nn so proprio dove andarle a prendere le configurazione. del pentium 4 qlcs so, ma x l'amd nn so nulla. a livello di processori quale è il migliore...o quello da tenere. gli HD posso spostarli da uno all'altro? e le varie periferiche tipo lettore cd, masterizzatore ecc
Tutte le periferiche (hdd, lettori, floppy, schede video) sono intercambiabili, per sapere quale processore sia migliore dovresti postare almeno il socket, dire solo la frequenza serve a poco...
Però, se la frequenza è corretta la cpu intel potrebbe essere: un pentium 4 willamette (socket 423 o socket 478, ci sono due versioni) oppure un northwood (socket 478)
per l'AMD potrebbe essere un athlon classic Thunderbird socket A

dove posso trovarle questo info, in modo da postarle con certezza?
Se i computer sono funzionanti basta accenderli ed usare un programma tipo cpu-z, se non lo sono devi smontarli e scrivere le caratteristiche della scheda madre (nome, codice), oppure leggerle direttamente sul processore sotto il dissipatore

il pentium nn è accessibile...quello che so è:
penium 4 1.6 Ghz

scheda madre abit bw7
nn so se puo essere d'aiuto ma sulla scheda madre c'è un chip con scritto:
intel fw82801ba sl5pn e un altro con phoenizbios D686 bios...scusate l'ignoranza
bhè non serviva riportare proprio tutto tutto;), comunque ora sappiamo che l'amd è un thunderbird a 1.2ghz e l'intel è un pentium 4 willamette.

Ora se non erro la scheda madre intel, avendo socket 423, può supportare al massimo un willamette da 2 GHz.
mentre per la scheda amd non riesco a trovare nulla di preciso, puoi postare il nome?
(facendo una ricerca su north e southbridge ho torovato qualcuno che montava un athlon xp palomino...)

qua (http://www.tomshw.it/forum/schede-madri-ram/607-processore-per-asus-a7m266.html) dicono che si può montare fino all'athlon xp 2100+.
Quindi ricapitolando allo stato attuale è più prestante il sistema intel (anche perchè puoi montare più ram) - ma funziona?
Mentre come potenzialità, ossia cambiando processore diciamo che i sistemi si equivalgono. Ovviamente se qualcuno ha più informazioni mi corregga pure:)

mi ritrovo con entrambi i pc funzionanti...l'amd sulla scheda ha due slot x ram...l'intel ne ha tre...visto che mi trovo a comperare un pc nuovo volevo prendere il meglio da entrambi e farne uno solo senza comperare o cambiare nulla...cosa faccio...tengo l'amd 1.2 o l'intel 1.6? ovviamente spostando la ram da uno all'altro
Proprio la ram mi sa che non la potrai spostare: se non erro la asusteck monta ram DDR, mentre qulle della abit sono SDRAM
