impostare ahci da bios con xp

ho una motherboard intel dg33tl ma non riesco a far partire xp in modalità ahci, mi serve per il mac,senza ogni volta cambiare e scambiare....qualcno sa aiutarmi?tnx

Se non hai precaricato i driver ahci con la procedura da floppy con f6 all'atto della installazione dell'os, mi sa che devi reinstallare windows e farlo.... :stordita:

Non so se ci sia qualche procedura per insewrire tali driver a os installato, ma se anche ci fosse mi sa che sia assai brigosa.... :confused:

Quoto! Esiste una procedura per installare l'AHCI quando Xp è già stato installato ma è complessa e non è alla portata di tutti, conviene formattare e reinstallare il SO e il driver AHCI caricato su floppy.

Se vuoi provare la procedura con xp installato è questa:

1. Go to Intel's download centre and download the latest version of the Intel Matrix Storage Manager for your OS:

Keep this file as you'll need it again in step 4.

2. Run the installer with the -a switch to extract the files. This will NOT install the software, just extract the files. Follow the prompts as if you were installing the software:

the above should extract the files to \Program Files\Intel\Intel Matrix Storage Manager. There are two folders, \Drivers and \Drivers64 for 32-bit and 64-bit OS's, respectively.

Copy the file IaStor.sys from the Drivers folder to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\

3. copy the following registry file to your desktop (copy and paste into notepad) and save as ahci.reg

4. Double check you've copied the IaStor.sys file as part of step 2. Now do the following:

Run the ahci.reg file to add the entries into the registry
Reboot the computer and enter the BIOS - DO NOT allow it to start Windows yet.
Change the setting for the on board Intel controller to AHCI, save and exit BIOS
Boot into Windows

When Windows loads it will detect a new hard disk - cancel the wizard for installing the new hardware and run the Intel driver installer you downloaded in step 1.

Reboot the system again and you're good to go

Now, under Device Manager > IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers you should see Intel(R) ICH9 SATA AHCI Controller listed.

I driver, se hai ich9r come chipset, li trovi o sul cd della mobo, ci deve essere un floppy creator, dove dovrai scegliere quelli giusti ( cambia se l'os è a 32-64bit, ad esempio.... ), oppure li trovi sul web, sul sito del produttore della mobo o del chipset ( per ich9r, intel).

Occhio che il floppy con i driver devi averlo già pronto all'atto della installazione dell'os, quindi prima di formattare, fai in modo di averlo.

Poi è semplicissimo... da bios selezioni ahci mode, quindi fai il boot da cd di xp, e inizia una nuova installazione, e quando te lo chiederà, dopo la formattazione del disco, come driver di terze parti, dovrai premere f6, quindi metti il floppy e gli fai caricare i driver.... poi l'installazione prosegue normalmente..... ;)

perfetto, ho usato la tua guida macchinosa e in 2 minuti ho sbloccato il tutto....cmq alcune volte mi si blocca a delle applicazioni, tipo apertura browser e alcuni prog ogni tanto, è normale?tnx e sembra che non mi funzia il copia incolla...boh
