a quando gli envy ng per ati 8.6?

salve a tutti i forensi, io ho la versione 8.04 di ubuntu con tutti gli aggiornamenti fatti, ora volendo provare gli effetti grafici (spettacolari devo dire) sono stato costretto a installare i driver ati 8.4 con l'envy ng che si trova nel pacchetto synaptic ma dentro si trovano solo gli 8.4! ora la mia domanda è come faccio a trovare un'envy che includa gli 8.6 !?

synaptic non é un pacchetto, é un package manager. Se gli effetti ti funzionano con gli 8.4, perché passare agli 8.6?

synaptic non é un pacchetto, é un package manager. Se gli effetti ti funzionano con gli 8.4, perché passare agli 8.6?

a non sapevo si aggiornassero automaticamente, cmq volevo vedere se alcuni difetti grafici come righe orizzontali a tutto schermo e difetti nel 2d e poi ancora assenza del filtro anti aliasing (almeno credo) visto che nel cubo 3d i bordi sono seghettati...ma non so forse c'è un'altro rimedio! se lo sai qual è?
