Prestatemi ascolto tutti per favore....
Ho un problema su un PC di un amico che ha(anche lui) linux ubuntu 8.04.
Il problema sta nel montaggio di un volume che viene chiamato <<IOMEGA_HDD>> che ogni volta che accendo mi dą un errore che dice:
impossibile montare il volume.

$MTFMirr does not match $MTF (record 0 ).Failed to mount '/dev/sdb1':Errore di I/O NTFS is either inconsistent, or you have a SoftRAID/fakeRAID hardware.
In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows then reboot into Windows TWICE.The usage of the /f parameters is veriły important! If you have SoftRAID/Fake RAID then first you must activate it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g. /dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1).

Ho provato a confingurare TOOl configurazione NTFS dando il supporto in scrittura per dispositivi interni ed esterni ma non so se centra qualcosa...cmq niente!
Ho provato anche nella partizione Windows a smontare bene il volume ma niente.:confused:
datemi un aiuto senza mandarmi ad altri link perchč ho spulciato il web fino alle 4.00 di notte ieri sera ma non ho trovato niente di utile al mio problema...
