Problema DX9 e Harry Potter

Ciao a tutti, ho un problema e spero che mi possiate aiutare.

Cercando di installare alcuni giochi tra cui Harry Potter o NFS MW o Carbon, il programma mi dice che non può continuare con l'istallazione xkè mancano le dx9 (necessarie x il funzionamento)...il problema è che io le ho e sono perfettamente installate.
Unica cosa che mi viene da pensare è che, dato che il sistema operativo sul mio pc nn è su C, il programma nn riesca a rilevare le DX...

Cosa posso fare?

Grazie provo...ma l'ho appena installato su quello di mia sorella che è identico al mio ma lei ha il SO in C...io in H...

Anche seondo me nn dovrebbe cambiare nulla se l'OS è su C o un'altra lettera...

Ho provato...e purtroppo niente.

Mi sembra che tutti i giochi che mi danno questo errore siano della EA...però nn tutti.

Per NFSMW bastava guardare il primo post del thread ufficiale, che trovi qui: http://www.hwupgrade.it/forum/showthread.php?t=1065272
La soluzione è:
If you get a directx error when installing, there is a simple fix:
1. Copy the contents of CD1 to a folder on your hard drive.
2. Open Autorun\autorun.cfg with notepad
3. Find DirectXVersion=9. 0c and change it to DirectXVersion=0 and save.
4. Run Autorun.exe from the CD1 folder and it should be ok, when it asks for other CD's just put them in your drive and point the installation to that drive and it should carry on installing.
Per gli altri giochi non ti so aiutare, ma ipotizzo si debba fare qualcosa del genere.
