IMPORTANTE STRANI FILE IN C win Vista

non so xkè ma oggi ho trovato degli strani file nella partizione C
sono eula.1028.txt e altri cn numeri diversi
install.res.2052.dll e numeri diversi
install.exe VC_RED.cab VC_RED.msi
posso eliminarli?
se apro install.exe mi chiede se riparare, o disinstallare Microsoft Cisual C++ 2008

Anche a me è capitata la stessa cosa in una hard disk esterno, molto probabilmente dopo che l'ho collegato ad un pc (non mio!) con vista.
Sembrano file legati a VC++ (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950683)

Ma li posso eliminare?....e perchè si sono messi là, solo per permettere a vista di leggere l'hd?

Cause
These temporary files are erroneously generated by the installer into the system root directory instead of the temp directory.

Resolution
These files are unnecessary and can be safely deleted from the system. The functioning of the runtime library will not be affected by this.
Its a known bug and is planned to be fixed in VS2008 SP1.
