Very little is known about this new model yet, other than that the 22" SM2263PW will be Samsung's first S-PVA based model in this size. It's likely that the screen will use Samsung's new LTM220M3 panel which would offer a 1680 x 1050 resolution, 6ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness and 178/178 viewing angles. The footage of the screen also suggest there will be MPA (Motion Picture Accelerator) technology used with this model, similar to that seen in the 24" SM245T model.

Samsung are using the conference to showcase several new inovations, and also have high resolution displays on show including 1920 x 1200 res 22", 1680 x 1050 19" and even 2048 x 1152 23" models.
