BMW M1 "Hommage" Concept

BMW presenta al Concorso d’Eleganza 2008 di Villa d’Este questa BMW M1 “Hommage”, un tributo al trentennale della mai dimenticata supersportiva (http://www.autoblog.it/post/13317/30-anni-di-bmw-m1/) disegnata da Giugiaro.
Questa concept vuole essere una sintesi delle forme e proporzioni della M1 del 1978 con il linguaggio attuale del design BMW. Nella prima immagine della galleria (http://www.autoblog.it/galleria/bmw-m1-hommage/) potete notare fianco a fianco la M1 originale e la Hommage: forme più estreme, una larghezza molto maggiore, la gobba sul cofano molto più “presente”, il doppio rene BMW di dimensioni decisamente maggiori.
La M1 Hommage sembra destinata a rimanere un puro esercizio di stile, ma possiamo già immaginare il clamore degli appassionati del marchio perché abbia un seguito di produzione.

Confermo, l'auto era fisicamete presente al concorso di Villa d'Este.
Cerchi esclusi a me piace molto, anche se devo dire che la M1 "originale" fa ancora oggi la sua porca figura.:ave: :ave: :ave:

Sono andato ieri a vederla dal vivo. Molto bella ma troppo lontana da qualcosa di realmente commercializzabile. Ho avuto diversi dubbi sul fatto che potesse realmente funzionare.

In ogni caso non è stata sicuramente l'auto che ha attratto di più la mia attenzione.
