Ciao ragazzi,
Avete sentito qualcosa in merito?
Pros: I've been using this KB+mouse set for about three weeks now. It's average. It ""looks"" kinda neat, but actual functionality is lacking compared to previous Logitech wireless keyboards, of which I've owned nearly every model since the late 1990s. Does not suffer from the terrible Bluetooth problems that the previous MX 5000 had, if you can consider that a Pro.
Cons: No OS X or Linux support (yes, I use Windows, Linux, and OS X). The LCD display has no value whatsoever -- it wastes battery and encourages you to look at the keyboard, which is a very poor habit to develop. The audio control buttons, which I would like to use often, are terrible. Very few programmable feature buttons compared with previous models. Small Esc and Insert keys, which I do actually use on a daily basis. The mouse charging cradle fits poorly and I often find that it's not resting in a position where it's making contact to the charging base. Finally, while the mouse is pretty good, I like it less than the previous model only because this one feels smaller, and so my fourth and fifth fingers are off the side of the mouse.
Other Thoughts: Logitech is selling this keyboard on looks alone. If you were to value the keyboard on it's tactile usefulness, it's pretty poor. While it's average, works, and would be generally good as an average wireless keyboard, this is supposed to be their top-of-the-line. Definitely check out Microsoft modesl while you're shopping. I really want to like Logitech products, but they are making it really hard. The MX 5000 was a disaster due to the Bluetooth connectivity problems and the poor software (which has gotten better). This one is just average. Maybe for the next release, it will be as good as the old MX 3100, which I consider to be the best keyboard+mouse they ever made -- I own one and have a second, just in case they never make anything better.

Pros: Looks and performs very nicely. The beautiful high-res mouse allowed me to reclaim pixel by pixel accuracy on the 24"" monitor. The media keys are great and work seemlessly in vista. The bluetooth is so fast and reliable that I have never noticed any lag in connecting. I like the small F keys even tho I am a regular user of them. LCD shows time and date, media (song playing in WMP, ect.), temperature in room, favorites keys, key counter, and new email count. Also has a calculater built in. Keys are soft and quiet. The mouse is so slick and comforable and smooth that it's the only mouse you'll ever want to use. Its laser is invisable and the green LED batter indicator is usually of but nicely between the thumb and first finger. Instantly worked with vistas built in drivers, but you'll want the features of the software so install that too.
Cons: The screen is low resolution and only B%W, which is expected to save battery life (the software extimates the keyboard had ~180 days of life on the 4AA's included, mouse ~16 days fully charged) but it is still nice. The LCD email inbox is the one thing that doesnt work for me, I am using Live Mail.
Other Thoughts: Running on Vista Ultimate 64bit. I was also able to pair up my blackberry pearl 8100 with the included bluetooth usb dongle. Logitech has released some cool sidebar Gadgets for battery life, signal strength, ect. I believe this is Logitechs best in wireless keyboard and mouse. I didn't buy from newegg this time because there was a better price on Buy.

Pros: First off, this is for the Mac users in the crowd. Windows users can probably ignore the ""cons"" section of the review. The bluetooth MX Revolution mouse is very nice and a high quality mouse, and with third party drivers, works well in OS X. I have large hands and find it to be generally comfortable, but would prefer the thumb wheel to be placed a little further back. The keyboard's keys has a very nice feel (it's a little squishy, but I found myself really liking it after a few days) and the built-in ""soft"" wristguard is a nice touch as well. Both connect and pair without any problems with my MacBook Pro's built-in bluetooth.
Cons: Logitech does not support this combo for OS X, so you'll get very limited functionality out of it. There's currently no reason whatsoever to install the Logitech Control Center as it will not recognize either device. Steermouse (version 3.9 as of this review) supports every button on the mouse aside from the button directly behind the (top) mousewheel. The keyboard is unsupported by anything and requires one to swap command and option within OS X if you want to maintain the normal key configuration on your external keyboard, but this of course also swaps it on your notebook (if you're using a MB or MBP). The keyboard also frequently needs to be re-recognized (as a generic keyboard) by OS X after sleeping/rebooting.
Other Thoughts: I must be fair and reiterate that this set does not claim to have OS X support, and fairly enough, it doesn't. However, the media keys mostly work on the keyboard, as does the built-in calculator and thermometer. Everything else, however, is unsupported and thus unused. This is my first bluetooth set, so I'm not sure if it's normal or not, but the mouse typically needs 10-20 seconds to re-establish the connection to the MBP after waking the computer from sleep. The keyboard seems to be responsive much sooner, but it is irritating. Anyone looking to use these with a Mac, I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere until if/when Logitech supports them for OS X. Windows users will likely be fine as the construction and everything else seems to be of high quality.

I love this mouse and keyboard....i have been waiting to buy the logitech MX untill it came in a package with a keyboard well it fnally does....and the mouse alone is $100, so really you are only paying $70 for an amzing keyboard, the keyboard is so comfortable and you can type very easy, the screen is dark and has no light which really stinks, all the shortcut buttons are eay to use and very nice logitech moved all the F keys to the very top and made them small so you dont accidently hit them which is very nice the mouse is amazing and seems perfecty shaped to my hand i really like the mouse, and the keyboard surprised me a lot only con is the LCD screen is too dark, but at least it has one which is pretty cool

I love the keyboard with its bluetooth functionality. Very easy to setup and start using. The only downsides are minor in my estimation. The letters on the keys should be larger and there should me a better light in the display at the top of the keyboard.I have had no issues with the other wireless items I have in the house.

This is probably the best keyboard/mouse combo that I have ever owned. The mouse is very comfortable and easy to use. You can configure a ton of options. The keyboard is easy to use and setup. The only complaint is the LCD screen is very difficult tosee in low light.

I love the combo mx5500. It is a cinch to install and get going.
The bluetooth doesn't have the interference with my cell phone
that my other cordless had. The flip and zoom is fantastic!
I don't like the small letters on the keyboard and the feet aren't really adjustable.
Lots of bells and whistles so a booklet would be great.

I was initially skeptical about the blue technology with keyboard, but this product works great, even better than a wired keyboard, the mouse is easy to use, battery life for both mouse and keyboard is long enough to not worry about charging or changin battery, I am very pleased with this product, additionally price is very competitive at circuit city, couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else.
