Ciao a tutti, ho un portatile dell xps M1530 con scheda di rete Marvell Yukon 88E8040 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller. Ho installato Kubuntu 7.10 32bit, Vista e XP. Ho un router fastweb con 3 uscite, e la connessione va in automatico sia su Vista che su XP senza bisogno di creare nulla. Anche sul mio vecchio portatile con kubuntu andava automaticamente, ma su questo nuovo invece non funziona.
Ho provato pppoeconf ma non mi trova il segnale, quindi non so come risolvere il problema. La scheda di rete dovrebbe essere riconosciuta correttamente, inizio a darvi un po' di informazioni con comandi utili che ho trovato in giro:
