Questo thread si propone come punto d'incontro per tutti gli appassionati di action figures, riproduzioni più o meno fedeli dei personaggi di anime e manga che hanno accompagnato la nostra infanzia, o che tutt'ora rappresentano un hobby. Questo tipo di oggetti, che definire gadget è in alcuni casi riduttivo, sta prendendo piede tra gli adulti nel nostro Paese solo recentemente, in quanto finora il mercato aveva proposto principalmente i tipici giocattoli per bambini. In Giappone invece, la passione imperversa già da diversi anni, e per alcuni è una vera e propria malattia; nel paese del sol levante, vengono organizzati ogni anno eventi in cui si riuniscono gli appassionati, per visionare in anteprima le novità del settore, il tutto in grande stile (roba che ci sognamo anche al Motorshow...).
In questa discussione, ho pensato di raccogliere il materiale più interessante che ho trovato in rete, i siti più aggiornati e particolari, e perchè no, magari anche qualche foto delle action figures di noi utenti... In base all'evolversi del thread, aggiornerò e modificherò la prima pagina, sperando di poter contare anche sul vostro contributo.



Un po' di storia:

Il termine “action figures” fu usato per la prima volta dalla Hasbro nel 1964, in occasione del lancio sul mercato di G.I.Joe, dedicata ai ragazzi che non potevano giocare con le bambole; la peculiarità di questo modellino, era la possibilità di cambiare l'abbigliamento e le posizioni, a seconda delle azioni che si volevano simulare. Concedendo le licenze per la produzione ad altre compagnie operanti in altri mercati, si vennero a creare delle serie “parallele”, in parte identiche all'originale, in parte dotate di caratteristiche uniche per quello specifico Paese. Nel 1971, la Mego iniziò a produrre e a commercializzare action figures basate sui fumetti Marvel e DC Comics, che ebbero un grande successo soprattutto tra gli adulti. Nel 1976, la linea Kenner's Star Wars, introdusse una nuova forma di action figures: anziché avere dei modelli di grandi dimensioni con abiti ed accessori intercambiabili, vennero prodotti modelli più piccoli e in diversi esemplari, ciascuno con funzioni specifiche; questa serie, basata su Star Wars, diede il via al business multimiliardario delle action figures ispirate ai film. Negli anni '80 e '90 videro la luce alcune tra le più popolari serie di action figures, tra cui ricordiamo Gundam e Microman della Takara, i Transformers, nati dall'unione dei Microchange della Hasbro e i Diaclone della Takara, Masters of the Universe, Thundercats, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, G.I. Joe e Thundercats, fino ad arrivare alle serie basate su Spawn e ancora su Star Wars. Oggi il mercato delle action figures si è esteso fino ad abbracciare una pluralità di generi, e vede nei produttori americani e giapponesi le colonne portanti. La qualità è ovviamente migliorata rispetto al passato, e l'introduzione dei kit di montaggio, ha stabilito un nuovo standard e una nuova concezione del modellino da collezione; a contribuire a questo periodo d'oro del settore, vi sono anche le innumerevoli serie tv e di cartoni animati che ogni anno vedono la luce, sia in oriente che in occidente, e che a seconda del successo di pubblico, danno luogo ad una più o meno massiccia produzione di gadget e action figures.

Welcome! :D No, per ora mi pare nessuno... però ho visto i modelli della Mc Farlane's e sono davvero ben fatti! In generale tutti i modelli di quella casa sono ottime riproduzioni, molto dettagliate; il difetto è che (credo...) sono action figures fisse, e quindi non è possibile cambiargli posizione. Se hai qualche link, o meglio ancora, qualche foto della tua collezione, postale pure! ;)

Però ho un dubbio: ho visto che per ogni Eva ci sono diverse versioni... ad esempio, dello 02 c'è la "standard" e la "1997 movie version"; per lo 01 c'è la "standard" e quella "Rebuild of Evangelion"... idem per il Mass Production e ancora peggio per lo 00, che ha addirittura 3 versioni (standard, Rebuild e quello con la colorazione Blu). La domanda è: a parte i dettagli e i colori, le dimensioni cambiano? :confused:

chiedo qui, anche se è abbastanza disperata come richiesta...mai ipotizzato di farmi piacere le action figures di qualsiasi tipo, ma giacche sono in tema (avatar), mi piacerebbe sapere se esiste un action figure di rei di hokuto no ken che sia grande (busto o intero, ma sempre grande)...girando 5 minuti su google ho ne ho vista una alta 40 cm (figura intera), diciamo che è il minimo....pero il meglio sarebbe un busto (fisso, senza articolazioni che mi saprebbe di giochino lol)...

All'inizio lo pensavo anch'io, ma per quell'action figure IMHO l'opaco ci sta bene, da un senso di "massiccio"... oltrettutto è più alta e imponente delle altre della serie EVA, rispetto allo 02 ad esempio la differenza è notevole...

Il Tengen Toppa è troppo bello, per essere un Revoltech secondo me è tra i migliori in assoluto... :D Ma anche gli altri sono fatti molto bene, il Gurren Lagann che ho io ad esempio, è posabilissimo, molto dettagliato e gli snodi sembrano più precisi e resistenti rispetto agli altri Revoltech che ho. Unico problema: togliere gli occhiali dal petto è un casino perchè si rischia di romperli... :fagiano:

Ad ogni modo, l'Enki e il TTGL devono ancora uscire...

Tra i Revoltech e i SoC c'è molta differenza... tanto per cominciare, le dimensioni, i SoC sono più grandi... poi i materiali, solitamente i SoC hanno alcune parti in metallo, mentre i Revoltech sono tutti in plastica; i SoC sono maggiormente dettagliati; non ultimo il prezzo, credo che con un SoC ci compri 4 o 5 Revoltech... :D Però i revo hanno maggior posabilità grazie alle particolari giunture, e in alcuni casi hanno un look più vicino a quello dell'anime da cui sono tratti...

Per esempio, confronta questi due modellini del Getter Black:

questi differiscono dalla precedente uscita in alcuni particolari e colorazioni:
i getter hanno sul dorso tre dischi con Kanji giappo nella prima versione; nella ristampa sono presenti numeri arabi 1,2,3
poi il giallo delle mutande :) del getter1 è + acceso e il Getter3 ha le braccia di un verde metalllizato

Scherzo, lo so che ci sono le due versioni, quella originale e quella "repaint", ma su alcuni siti (ladri, a sto punto :mad: ) ho visto a 700€ anche le versioni più recenti con la nuova colorazione. Addirittura, ho visto il Fewture Black Getter (di cui posterò foto quanto prima) a 1.000 euro!!! :eek:

A parte ciò, tu quale colorazione preferisci? Personalmente mi piace di più il repaint, con colori meno accesi e il giallo più "giallo"... :D

alcune cose oggi conviene prederle in italia, tra cambio sfavorevole e dogana ormai il risparmio si è assottigliato tanto tanto.
trovando un buon fornitore che applica prezzi "onesti" rispetto a quelli di ebay, si fanno buoni affari.
io ho preso il Myth Cloth Seiya God a € 48,00 cioè quanto su HLJ ma senza spedizione e dogana
purtroppo io colleziono gli aerei trasformabili della serie Macross/robotech e sono costretto a prenderli direttamente in jap perchè in italia non hanno successo e quei pochi pezzi su ebay o shop hanno prezzi altissimi :cry:

presente, mi piacciono moltissimo sia le action figure che le maschere, specialmente tratte da film horror, giochi o fumetti.
per il momento visti i costi ho 3 action figure: edward carnby ( quella dell'edizione limitata del gioco), la mascotte di fallout 3 (sempre limited edition gioco) e comprata ho rorschach di watchmen (comprata oggi).
Come maschera ho quella di v di vendetta.
In futuro mi piacerebbero le action di micheal myers, freddy e jason e rispettive maschere.

Dopo averli collezionati da piccolo, o meglio, dopo averci giocavo, e i risultati si vedevano, con pezzi che si perdevano e omini mutilati dopo un pò, :asd: ho deciso di portare a compimento uno dei miei sogni di bambino, ovvero avere tutti i 12 cavalieri d'oro. :sofico:

Ora mi chiedevo, e volevo chiedere a voi se conoscevate dei negozi fisici in cui acquistare i modellini bandai dei cavalieri dello zodiaco, o anche negozi online ma magari italiani.

io conosco qualche sito soprattutto cinesi o di hong kong solo che mi rode un attimino dare il 20% alla dogana, certo prendendoli in italia la pago uguale, ma quanto meno son sicuro di averli (comprandoli in un negozio fisico quanto meno :D).

ricapitolando quindi, negozi fisici in cui comprare questi modellini? (zona milano brianza lecco) o negozi online italiani.

per quanto riguarda la dogana, difficilmente ti faranno storie, a meno che tu non decida di comprarli tutti e 12 in un colpo solo. Solitamente i pacchetti di scarso valore li lasciano passare senza problemi. Più che il 20% di dogana il pericolo maggiore in quel caso è lo smarrimento. In compenso si possono fare ottimi affari specialmente con alcuni siti di hongkong che vendono in sterline ora che il rapporto euro/sterline è più umano ( ho preso un gundam Master Grade a 30 euro che in italia si trova attorno ai 70 e un Evangelion a 20 che in italia sopra i 50 )
Mi pare che i myth cloth siano commercializzati in italia anche dalla giochi preziosi a un prezzo tutto sommato accettabile.

il gundam ho quasi finito di pitturarlo. Era la prima volta che ci provavo, non sono soddisfattissimo del risultato, però non è che sia venuto poi così male. Domani magari con un po' di luce posto un paio di foto e mi dite che ne pensate.

allora io conosco questo sito che qualche amico mi ha consigliato, non so se posso postare il link, se posso al limite edito e lo metto, comunque l'idea era per ora di prendere 2 myth, saga e aiolia, valore complessivo 100$ più la spedizione, che nel caso di EMS (tracciata e che arriva in 5 giorni) viene sui 60$, totale 160$, che al cambio vengono 127€ una roba del genere.

secondo te lo fermano in dogana? o è un valore tutto sommato tranquillo per cui non lo calcolano più di tanto? :D

molto bello come tutti gli Hot Toys, specie Iron-Man! ma state attenti perchè dal vivo potrebbero essere differenti.
consiglio quando comprate cercate sempre foto live e non basatevi solo sulle foto pubblicitarie, spesso fotoritoccate o che ritraggono i prototipi dipinti a mano, e quindi migliori della verniciatura in serie

quella che dici tu comunque sempre su ebay si trova a ottimi prezzi importandola, tra i 50 e i 60 euro. Anche se a quel punto ce ne butto dentro altri 20 e prendo il perfect grade da montare :D

la cosa strana che ho notato è che nei negozi di hongkong magari hanno lo stesso modello in catalogo a prezzi differenti nello stesso negozio, a volte in maniera decisamente sensibile. Per dire, inclusa spesa di spedizione magari nello stesso negozio ebay sono disponibili tre Xs-01 Spec uno a 50 uno 80 e l'altro a 100 euro e parlo di comprasubito, non di aste. Avendo pazienza si riescono a strappare affari incredibili, specialmente rispetto ai prezzi che hanno quei prodotti in italia. Il Gundam di prima l'ho pagato meno di 30 euro incluse spese di spedizione, era l'ultimo rimasto sul gobbo ad un negozio :D. in italia non si troverebbe a meno di 70

ed ecco come promesso un paio di immagini del mio gundam "work in progress".
Pieno di errori ma francamente non avevo ne troppo tempo ne troppi soldi da dedicarvi, percui l'ho preso un po' come palestra per esercitarmi all'uso dell'aerografo e di alcune tecniche.

Porca miseria, è veramente bello! Per essere un allenamento è venuto niente male! Ok, non sarà perfetto, ma è già notevole, soprattutto se paragonato alla versione "liscia"... complimenti davvero!

Per l'EVA, ora come ora io aspetterei a prenderne di qualunque serie, perchè essendo in cors il Rebuild of Evangelion che modifica in parte l'aspetto dei robot, sostanzialmente nei colori e nelle armi in dotazione, probabilmente usciranno pian piano i modelli nuovi... la Revoltech per esempio ha già fatto lo 00 e lo 01 ispirati alla serie Rebuild... a proposito, ecco le anteprime della serie "Revoltech Neo":

Cmq sono tentatissimo, l'unica cosa che mi ferma è che ho un ordine quasi pronto da mandare con 1999, e pagare ss+dogana per 2 siti diversi significa un botto di soldi in più.

ma come funziona la dogana? Io ho ordinato una volta (mi pare il corriere fosse proprio ems) e mi hanno sparato 25 euro di tasse, stronzi -_-
Per fortuna li avevo in casa altrimenti quel corriere idiota rispediva il pacco indietro.

dalla mia esperienza, dipende tutto in quale dogana finisce il pacco.
se arriva a Roserio sei fregato: calcolano l'iva a caso (ma sempre >20%) + dazii e balzelli vari.
Se arriva in un altro ufficio doganale, e tutta un'altra storia e così via...

cmq di giusta regola dovrebbero calcolare il 20% di iva sull'importo totale della merce, quindi imponibile+spese di spedizione (si anche le ss sono soggette a iva).
a queste vanno aggiunti piccoli balzelli di 1 o 2 euro per la pratica di sdoganamento. le famose € 5,00 fisse sono state abolite

Molto belle, la serie di Spawn si presta moltissimo alle action figures e statue varie, hanno un design particolarissimo!

Le AF Macross che ho postato sembrano molto curate sia nella colorazione che nelle articolazioni. Sono in scala 1/60, usciranno a luglio e costeranno la bellezza di 19.740 yen cadauno! :D

Grazie a te che me li hai fatti venire in mente... solo chi è stato bambino in quegli anni può capire... Ricordo ancora quando, in periodo di Natale, si trovavano in edicola o nei negozi di giocattoli i cataloghi con le ultime uscite, e c'erano quasi sempre i Masters con i vari castelli o veicoli... :cry:

Certo, in confronto alle AF di adesso non c'è storia, ma IMHO il valore affettivo prevale sulla qualità intrinseca dell'oggetto...
