Hd e settaggi bios.. è un bel problema!

Buongiorno a tutti. Avevo da parte un hard disk vecchiotto da 16 gb
che ho attaccato alla scheda madre tramite ide1.
Volevo sapere se funzionava, riaccendo il pc e parte subito da boot..
Fatta la prova stacco tutto..rilascio tutto come era (cioè il mio
nuovo hd sata attaccato come lo avevo lasciato) ma al boot non parte
più nulla..
mi viene fuori un errore "master..qualcosa.."..
ho provato a guardare nel bios per capirci qualcosa e mi dice che sata
"non detected"..
Non so che fare..ora non parte più..ci sono tantissime opzioni ma non
so che toccare..

ora ho riattaccato l'hd vecchio e da boot ho il seguente:

OnBoard IDE controller [Both]
OnBoard SATA controller [enabled]
Sata operation mode [Non riad]

ps. in tal senso qualcuno mi spiega la differenza tra riad e non riad?

Primary Ide master [Hd]
Primary Ide slave [Not detected]

Secondary Ide master [atapi cdrom]
Secondary Ide slave [atapi cdrom]

SATA 1 [not detected]
SATA 2 [not detected]

il problema immagino sia questo..non me lo vede..

se io clicco su sata ho:

LBA/LARGE MODE [Auto]
Block (multi sector transfer) [Auto]
s.m.a.r.t. [Enabled]
32bit data tranfert Enabled]

non so che fare, che toccare, mi aiutate??

After you disconnect the old drive, you need to redetect the SATA drive.

Come faccio? nel senso è automatico? perchè ho provato ma non funziona.. non so se devo staccare e riattaccare qualcosa perchè così bhò, non mi trova nulla..

Disable and disconnect all the other drives and boot with only the SATA drive set to non-RAID.

You may have to reset the BIOS to its defaults or clear the CMOS among other settings.
