peroì' non sono ancora riuscito ad installare ubuntu so sto raid....se ci siete riusciti mi sapete mica dare una mano?

dunque nella guida che ho postato sono arrivato fino al punto in cui mi dice di dare dmraid -r

poi se vado avanti gparted non moi fa creare le partizioni perche' mi dice che puo' fae solo una partizione primaria

il mio disco e' vuoto e ci installero' solo ubuntu

I had a little problem with my RAID-Controller-BIOS though, it lets me choose a name but filled up the rest with whitespace, so I had something like this „jmicron_GRAIDO “ and I couldn't access it under Ubuntu, but after I rebuild and changed the name to „jmicron_RAIDsimmelstripe“, filling up the complete whitespace I was able to access it.

e credo che sia il mio problema,in quanto quando do dmraid -ay ottengo:

RAID set "isw_bfghgdhjjc_RAID0"

nel bios ,quando ho scelto il nome del disco l ho chiamato RAID0

nella guida che ho postato negli esempi mi dovrebbe dare 2 risultati dopo quel comando ,come mostra la figura che dice:

ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ sudo -s
root@ubuntu:~# dmraid -ay
RAID set "jmicron_RAIDsimmelstripe" already active
RAID set "jmicron_RAIDsimmelstripe1" already active

a me mi da solo il risultato che ho postato

quando do dmraid -r invece ottengo 2 stringhe di output

/dev/sda: isw, "isw_bfghgdhjjc", stripe, ok, 312581806 sectors, data@ 0
/dev/sdb: isw, "isw_bfghgdhjjc", stripe, ok, 312581806 sectors, data@ 0

se fate caso,pero',quando do dmraid -ay ottengo come nome del disco

isw_bfghgdhjjc_RAID0

quando do dmraid -r invece ottengo:

isw_bfghgdhjjc

come mai ne manca un pezzo?

ho provato a rinominarlo ma mi da errore e se lancio gparted poi mi si blocca

mi sapete dire come mai?
