Si, ho visto l'immagine in dimensione reale. Si direbbe un vero modello di tipo in-game (anche per via dell'aliasing)...

Ancora non l'avete capito??? Duke Nukem Forever è come Babbo Natale... Ci si crede per un pò d'anni ma dopo si capisce che NON ESISTE! :D

Scherzi a parte, speriamo almeno che dopo tutto questo tempo la realizzazione tecnica non faccia ridere i polli, e che anche il gameplay sia stato rivisto. Molta acqua sotto i ponti è passata dai vecchi Duke Nukem, e non vorrei che, una volta uscito, il gioco si riveli "obsoleto"... Sarebbe una gran bella mazzata :muro:

Tecnicamente parlando, non mi aspetto un crysis, ma un gioco comunque buono...che motore useranno, si sa? Non ricordo l'ultima licenza che avevano preso (hanno cambiato 3-4 volte almeno :asd:)
Sul gameplay, più ignorante è meglio sarà, un duka con le innovazioni alla portal, enigmi, mappe alla crysis etc non ce lo vedo proprio...rivoglio le stanze 2x2 con 30 mostri che compaiono dal nulla :D

anche a me sembra il motore di d3/q4/prey etc, mostri e texture me lo ricordano parecchio.

Si questo trailer è fantastico è troppo carismatico. Perfino la grafica non fa così schifo al giorno d'oggi. Ci sono un sacco di situazioni diverse e idee strampalete e divertentissime, e molte non si sono ancora viste in uno sparatutto...

In effetti nei vecchi trailer, del 1998 e del 2001, si vedeva molta azione con i mezzi, un abbozzo di fisica nella distruzione dell'ambiente, sistema d'illuminazione da paura etc, cose che in quegli anni gli altri titoli si sognavano...speriamo solo che questo dnf non sarà il classico clone di q4 o d3

Così ad occhio... il teaser mi ha dato l' idea che il gioco usi il Tech 3 di Id, o una versione modificata, ma potrei sbagliarmi.
Infatti... il modello del duca è un tantino squadrato per usare un motore come l' Unreal engine 3.0.
A parte questo... il carisma e la sboronaggine del duka sono grossissme, speriamo in un gameplay diverso dal solito.

Sì, direi che è decisamente il motore di Doom 3, e neanche troppo migliorato.

Però il rendering dei vecchi mostri in 3D è ottimo. Beh, forse è solo la nostalgia che mi fa parlare in questo modo :D

Si, penso anch'io si tratti del motore di Prey (quindi D3 engine potenziato) e questo mi fa un pò storcere la bocca per il fatto che non mi aspetto di certo una fisica all'ultimo grido o ambientazioni esterne ultra-dettagliate. Se non sbaglio anche l'interazione con l'ambiente non è certo una prerogativa di questo engine. Speriamo venga smentito su tutto...

Il motore non mi sembra quello di Doom3...e anche fosse quello di Doom3 con tutto sto tempo avrebbero potuto modificarlo al 99% :rotfl:

Io spero solo che si sia anche metà di quelle cose che si vedono nei vecchi trailer... (cioè ci sono ambientazioni in città, all'interno, all'esterno, nel deserto, in una miniera, in un edificio militare, di guida di automezzi, navicelle, di uso di armi pesanti, sui carrelli, possibilità di rimpicciolire i nemici...poi in generale si vede molta fisica...roba che nel 2001 ci si sognava...se avessero portato tutto questo in un motore moderno, hai voglia quanto ci divertiamo :sofico: )

Non ci sono dubbi è il Trinity Engine. Non mi dispiace. IMHO Doom 3 ha ancora una buona grafica, ma soprattutto ha un motore grafico estremamente scalabile. Quindi non DOVREBBERO esserci problemi di requisiti hardware. Speriamo lavorino un pò sugli spazi esterni (effettivamente il trinity non ha mai brillato in questo) e che ambientino il gioco in una notte perenne, dove il trinity da il meglio di sè. Tutto questo dando per scontato che il gioco sia effettivamente in lavorazione :asd:

L' unreal engine 2... se ben manipolato può dare grandi soddisfazioni anche oggi.
Comunque, quello che m' interessa è che non sia il solito FPS del piffero: le pazzie del duca andavano bene 10 anni fa, ma oggi... non sono sufficienti a garantire un gran gioco.
Spero di non vedere una porcata in stile Painkiller, IA prossima alla lobotomizzazione e narrazione pari ad un film dei Vanzina...

Accennata come una semplice ipotesi in occasione del nuovo trailer, l'uscita multiformato di Duke Nukem Forever è invece nei piani del team creativo 3D Realms.

Parlando al sito economico MCV, Scott Miller (direttore del team di sviluppo) precisa che c'è l'intenzione di pubblicare il gioco su più macchine "se sarà possibile". In altre parole, gli sviluppatori dovranno tenere conto, come sempre, delle specifiche hardware ed eventuali limiti tecnici nel passaggio PC-console.

In linea generale, visti gli oltre dieci anni di attesa, non vengono fornite nuove date ma lo sviluppatore si dichiara "entusiasta" dei progressi fatti dall'ultima versione del codice.

Io ho letto che Broussard cita il 2, da cui dice hanno preso parte del codice quando EPIC ha fatto Unreal 2 e ha aggiunto le static meshes e poi il resto l'hanno riscritto loro.

Quindi dell'Unreal Engine 3 penso ci sia zero... :confused:
