La società di sicurezza Secunia (http://secunia.com) ha riportato in questo advisory (http://secunia.com/advisories/27584/) una vulnerabilità che affligge Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Microsoft Windows 2000 Datacenter Server, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Datacenter Edition, Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition, Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition e Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Web Edition il quale riguarda il servizio di cache DNS che può essere preso di mira da un malintenzionato per corrompere il file dns.exe compreso nei sistemi operativi su citati.
