Ragazzi, la mia scheda madre, a quanto ho capito dal sito della Asrock non supporta tutte le VGA pci-e, ma solo alcune, questa è la lista

Ora io ero deciso a comprare una 8800gt nuova di pacco, ma vedendo che non è in lista ci ho ripensato, ho mandato una mail all' asrock per sapere se tale elenco sarà aggiornato...mi sono fatto tutti i miei conti e pensando e ripensando, in fondo, io nn è che sia un giocatore incalliti che vuol far girare tutto al max, io un gioco a più di 1280x1024 non l'ho mai fatto andare, per esempio, quindi vi chiedo un consiglio, una scheda che mi faccia andare bene, magari anche con le directx 10 (forse chiedo troppo) , a 1280x1024....credo che per uno come me spedere 250 euro in una 8800 gt voglia dire sprecare un potenziale...e buttare via qualche soldo...che mi dite?
Questa è la risposta della Asrock sulla compatibilità con la 8800gt:
The nVidia 8800GT PCIE VGA card is GEN2 mode VGA card.
Unfortunately VIA PT880 PRO/Ultra chipset does not support GEN2 mode VGA card.
The only solution is to set 8800GT PCIE VGA card to GEN1 mode.
We have tested ASUS 8800GT PCIE VGA card. After flashing GEN1 mode BIOS for ASUS 8800GT,
it works fine on PT880 PRO/Ultra chipset motherboard.
If you want to use NVIDIA 8800GT PCIE card on the motherboard, please contact VGA card vender to get the VGA BIOS with GEN1 mode for 8800GT PCIE VGA card first.
