»Problem Description
Hello, i have this annoying problem, i have bought a Peak Ati x1950gt video card and plugged in at the place of my peak geforce 8500gt card that was perfectly working over 20 days right now. The new video board starts intermittently, most times the on-board graphic card wakes up. i have done anything I can but no way. The opnly way to start the card is unplugging the power cord then clear the cmos (via jumper) and the replugging the power, then the video card works fine until i reboot. The next reboot the on-board video card wakes up. I'm in computer business and i know that all the cables are plugged right, and there's no psu problem. The Ati card works perfectly on another motherboard with same components (hd, proc, psu, monitor).
I think it's a pci-express/bios related problem, Please advidce.

questo e' quanto mi e' stato risposto da Asrock:

Dear Sir,
We suggest contacting VGA card vendor for the support. We have similar experience before. The result is there is something wrong with the VGA card power design. (incompatible with NVIDIA chipset)
Thanks for the email.
Yours truly,
ASRock
