Uso VSO DivxtoDVD per convertire i divx in dvd e nonostante abbia 2 Giga di RAM il procedimento è lento. Mi consigliate un programma un pò più veloce? Ovviamente non a scapito della qualità.

Può essere anche il processore il tuo collo di bottiglia.. tieni presente che per ogni fotogramma deve essere decompresso dal divx e ricompresso in mpeg2; quindi descrivici la tua configurazione in modo migliore!

Scherzi a parte non mi sembra che tu abbia specificato che tipo e capacità di HD hai a bordo.
Se hai un HD da 4200 giri già andiamo maluccio, inoltre quando fai questi "lavoretti", non ci dovrebbero essere altri programmi che girano in contemporanea e/o che fanno accesso al disco.
